Im new. Im older but love fitness. I teach pilates, still love my bowflex as I find lots of overlap with body shapes, and Im so sick of scrolling, I want to go old school. I got my old bowflex guide out and looked the nutritional advice 60/20/20? Ive never used supplements that really did anything. My favorite book was that Faigin book Natural Hormonal Enhancement (Cant find it anywhere). Im looking for a few things to start. I need good vegan protein and something with some energy maybe bone health. What do you recommend besides eating 1200 calories a day? Are we still eating carbs before a workout and protein after? Am I in a time capsule?

Iām excited to see a new female here! What age range are you in? What are your goals? Muscle growth, weight loss better mobility? 1200 calories a day seems fairly low to me especially if you plan to be active.
