Supplements advice

Hello.Long time natural bodybuilder since the age of 17 now 30.Did my first cycle and won for few times in a row the armwrestling chamionships category to 72 kg.
Currently 2 days after the last competition and working on other aspects of improving in the sport,at work and overall health wellbeing.

My blood works are excellent.
I have no chronic ilnesses.
I do not take any medications.

I only supplement my well balanced keto diet with creatine, whey protein and omega 3.

Question number 1.
On my smartwatch latest version of apple whatever it is named shows I get very little deep sleep. How to improve that both naturally and with supplements.Heard of magnesium,b12, electrolytes and CBD.Any experiences, advices thoughts?
(My sleep higiene is rock solid I go to sleep every day at the same evening and I get up same time every morning.Except Sunday when Im off duty and have day off weight training only light cardio I sleep more.Monday Saturday I sleep 7.5hrs a day.)

Sorry for the long post if the post itself is in wrong category please move it.Thanks in advance to everyone that will and is willing to help Peace out.

If you’re not getting daily sun exposure on your arms/legs and face, I’d suggest adding a Vitamin D3 supplement. And being on a keto diet - electrolytes are a good add a long with magnesium. But if you’re feeling good doing just what you’re doing, I’d say do the D3 and call it good. Less is more in the area of supplementation.

honestly it seems like you selected to supplement the only things you’re not deficient in.

Maybe Vitamin C so you don’t get scurvy? lol

Isn’t keto diet definitionally unbalanced? I might be misunderstanding here.

Anyway, D3 and Magnesium make a ton of sense. @QuadQueen is an actual RD

Magnesium
Zinc
Vitamin D3 with K2

I have seen Curcumin also suggested but, it has to be the patented version BCM-95.

Do you feel rested? These trackers can be wildly inaccurate

To the original question:
Magnesium Glycinate has been a game changer for me.
I tried ZMA but didn’t notice a difference between it and plain magnesium
B12 doesn’t really make a difference unless you’re deficient, which is doubtful since you probably eat plenty of animal products

If you consider the low amount of carbs. As the nutrients (vitamins, minerals, proteins, fats and carbs I count them using the label).

I Do not feel well rested as in the past might be due to long term cut.
Would rate my sleep 8 out of 10.

Lol mate your are right.will incorporate
Magnesium, vit D3 with k2 and zinc.see how it goes from there.
