Super Bowl XLIV

Go Colts!!! I predict the score to be 27-20, some moderate scoring, but a few stops thrown in there as well. I just see the colts winning this like they usually do in the fourth quarter. All year teams haven’t been able to touch manning, and i don’t see the saints being able to get anything done on the defensive front. Regarding freeney’s injury, i would not be suprised if the colt’s are taking a page from the pats and are being secretive, and making it bigger than it really is.

I’m going to pick the Colts, but i don’t think the game will be as high scoring as some people think. I just hope the game is close and entertaining.

Fuck this pass happy league. Bring back real football.

Go Saints!

Fuck Favre!
This… I like the run to set up the pass, not the other way around.

Did anyone see the picks(if they are legit) of Favre’s ankle and thigh after the loss to the Saints?..wow,thats alot of purple lol.

I gotta go with the Colt’s but I will cheer on the Saints.

No rooting interest either way, but since I’m a Pats fan, I’ll have to root for the Saints just so Manning doesn’t win. Either way it should be a good game though, unless New Orleans just completely blows it from the get-go. I don’t really think there is any stopping Manning, but I’m hoping they can find a way.

Saint’s defense is ranked near the bottom of the league. They gave up far too many yards and points to the Vikings offense that kept giving them ball.

Manning embarrassed the leagues best defense (Jets) and beat another solid defense the weak before (the Ravens).

If the Saints some how won, it wouldn’t surprise me. Colts are the better all around team, however, and should win.

I’d love the saints to win but really don’t see it. Peyton will tear through their D like he did the Jets and so many before that.

Freeney’s injury will be fine, they’d probably play him with a broken leg

Hate both teams. However I want to see the Saints get their shit tossed in a landslide win by the Colts. 35-10. Fuck who dat nation!

How crazy do you think Bourbon Street will get if the Saints pull it off? I can’t imagine how drastically the number of exposed breasts will increase.

Hurricane Katrina will be envious of the destruction caused by the Who Dat nation if the Saints pull it off…got alot of extended family in Louisiana, so i always pull for the teams down on the Bayou and in Cajun country.

GEAUX SAINTS!!!

however, i know, like all of you do, that the Colts are probably the best team around. so, unfortunately, if i was a betting man I’d back Mr. Manning and the boys in blue. but since i’m not a betting man, GEAUX SAINTS!!!

From watching the fesitval this week. Saints are in shock and not prepared. Peyton and his team are all business. Saints will go up early and may even lead by half time. However Peyton has shown that he can will his team to victory by how he reads defenses. Saints do not even have an average secondary and will get shredded in the second half.

Since the Saints lost to the Cowboys everyone has the blueprint on how to attack them. 38-21 Colts. I dont like either team because they do not have the style of team I like. I am a Cowboys fan but honestly love the way the Ravens and Jets play. I am old school and old when it comes to football.
Question what is the highest scoring superbowl? Possibly this game could hit 100 points.

That’s how I am. I’m not a Ravens fan, but I always end up rooting for them because of their defense. So fun to watch.

Not rooting for either team… I think it would be great for NO if they won this Super Bowl, then again Manning is amazing right now so I wouldn’t be surprised if he kills it.

We’ll so far we have more people picking teams that aren’t even playing, a bookie could do well here.

I’m not sure I have the same dislike of the newer pass happy league as some of you. I do agree that busting a 30 yard run is much more entertaining than a 50 yard bomb, but football is football and both the pass and the run are part of the game now.

The precision and intelligence that both QB’s bring is pretty impressive, and I am perfectly fine with a 42-35 final score. Peyton Manning is arguable one of the best QB’s to ever play the game, and love him or hate him, he does amazing work on the field. I think he has just done it on such a consistent basis that people have gotten bored. He has turned a waiter and a dog into fine NFL receivers, a true sign of an amazing QB.

My pick? 49ers by 7
right, I’m not knocking the greatness they bring. My stance comes from my own sports career where I played defensive line for my whole life. I hate everything about scoring unless its a fumble recovery, pick 6, or special teams. I text or call someone when my team is on an offensive drive. lol its that bad. Offensive players are not people.

Go BUCS!!!

BRING FARVE TO TAMPA BAY!!!

D-Line is where it’s at. I agree that defensive games are really fun to watch, especially when the defense has some really hard hitters. 50 yard pass after 50 yard pass gets boring really quick.

Take D. Ware out of the Cowboy game and the Saints win. That’s why Freeney may be the difference. And now Wayne aggravated a knee, although I don’t think it will affect him.

Yes, I’m biased, but if the Saints bring their A game, they will win.

Who Dat?

Well it’s been decided, ESPN used Madden 2010 to simulate the Super Bowl, and the Saints won the simulation.

Surprisingly, the Madden 2010 simulator also predicted the outcome of the conference championship games correctly, to within 3 points for both games.

Video games FTW.

I just heard some talking head say it was going to be 20 mph winds. That not so bad for the QB’s but the kickers…oie!

I’d rather see a defensive stop on fourth down to preserve a win, than a game winning field goal anyday. I like defence.

Just a few hours to go… I just hope it’s gonna be a good game. Hope it stays close, not a damn blowout.

I think it will be crazy either way. That city is just too pumped to see their team make it to their first SB.

Saints 27-24

Pretty mellow game thus far. Both QB’s look great, but the goal line stand by the Colts D has been the most impressive part so far.

Whoever bet on the over is probably pretty worried going into halftime.
