Hey I’m in, if we do it on Kauai. No better place than paradise. Heck we could do it year round here. My second choice would be the Portland OR. I might move back there after my massage school is done. Also the best selection of beer anywhere on the planet too.
I vote for Cleveland. I live in CT but my business is headquartered in Cleveland. On second thought, Colorado does sound better. Sorry Cleveland. 
This is a great idea – but I doubt you can get many people to travel cross country, or even to co. Maybe a better way is to have regional get togethers. Mid-Atlantic in DC, NW in San Fran, etc. We could do this, and post pics, etc on a common web site.
KraigY - I’ve spent many a summer at my grandmother’s house in Santa Cruz. I grew up just over the hill in Campbell, moved to Davis for college and grad school and I’ve been living in Mountain View for the last year and I’m moving to Sunnyvale in 2 weeks.
Well, lets do something regional then. It is more likely to happen. There is some great places in the Bay Area and Portland is a great place to visit, so Pat and Ko - are you up for it? Anybody else?
like jason said, the national thing would be ideal, but the regional thing sounds more logical. maybe if everyone posted pics or whatever from the regional “fiestas” some company would sponsor the national one. and hey if anyone is in denver or coming to denver drop me a line.

We’ve been meaning toget down to San Fran for a while. My chef just opennew restaurant in Santa Rosa, so I want to go check it out, and also hit China town for some dim sum. If we do come down we will definitely have to hook up. Hope your on a bulking phase.

If anything, it can be in N. Cali. Since Biotest is in Colorado, and there are several forum regulars in Nevada, Arizona - N. Cali would be pretty centralized.
Ahh, and Chinatown and Dim Sum. Make my eyes water with anticipation.
Also, Jason: I am all too familiar with Santa Cruz and it's popular boardwalk. My dad useto take my sister and I to Santa Cruz every summer when we were kids. My grandparents lived in Palo Alto (where I was born) - so we'd stay with them every summer. Visit all my Chinese relatives (in San Fran) and of course, watch movies in my mom's Chinese theater in Chinatown. Sorry, traveling down memory lane.....

Right now, my mood is nowhere near the “plan for fun social” event. I have just lost a dear, furry member of our “funny farm”. And am more in mourning mode…so forgive me if I do not sound at all enthusiastic.
Vain, Pennsylvania would be rather nice. My favorite artist, the one I consider THE God of ALL artists, lives in East Stroutsburg, PA. And that's where his gallery/museum is - so my goal would be to one day, visit this gallery. Would be a nice side-trip to this event, if it were held in your neck of the country. So, it comes down to N. Calif, Colorado and now PA. Oh, and Pittsburgh has the Warhol museum - and I wouldn't mind visiting that as well.
However, I am going to be in San Diego from July 30 to August 4. Got some 'art" schmoozin' to do down there at that time. So that's my way of seguing into - dates, people. We've got to consider dates.

JC, where to you live in CO, Lakewood? Just curious…my parents live in Golden, and I was living there for the past year but am back in Canada now…btw, flights to Denver are not that cheap unless you get lucky and find one on travelocity
Cleveland sounds good. Michelle, the gang o babes girls and Avoids…quite a combination there. I live in Grand Rapids, MI, so it would be driveable. Only problem is, I’m still going to school and live with the folks; no way in hell they would let me take the car to Cleveland. Avoids, you’re close to my dad’s age, so maybe you could call him and tell him that I have to make a job-related trip to Cleveland (wink, wink).
