Successful Careers in Physical Fitness/Education?

I’m greatly interested in the physical fitness career path, but the outlook and salary doesn’t look too appealing. Unless you’re a stud at marketing and sales, and start your own box gym like Elliot Hulse and ect.

I have two mentors who Will help me and will intern me, in gym and in home style training. I’m also considering a BA in exercise science, or possibly going for PT assistant or something in that field. That is well paying (50-60k) or maybe even a high school coach, or PT assistant and on the side training and or running my own box gym for side income.

I’m 25 so I’d like to avoid spending 8-10 years in school since I never enjoyed school but also avoid crappy private schools to keep costs low.

Anyone ever get a degree or equivalent in these fields? How’s job outlook? How’s salary?

When you say you might want to study to be a PT assistant do you mean physiotherapist or personal trainer?

If you’re at all interested in Physiotherapy (physical therapy as you yanks like to call it  …) I could fill you in because I happen to be one.

My gym teacher was about 400lbs and would chase us on a lawnmower while we were running track. Id say that is pretty successful.
