Lack of activity, no sense of correct portion size, and sugar addiction are creating a youth population that is going to die young and live half-lives.
They are also losing the drive to DO things, to go out and explore.
Maybe creativity has mutated to include computer graphics and that kind of thing but there is too much assisted imagination.
How do kids find their way for themselves now with everything doled out, rolled out and sanitized?

oh man I sound old.
I don’t think every kid has sold out as well. The problem with the people who want to be outside but don’t go, is that everyone else just wants to stay inside. And exploring a suburb isn’t very exciting.

It is if you use your…
I-M-A-G-I-N-A-T-I-O-N !!!
Parents should get their kids to play at least one sport. Or be active. Or something like that.
Yeah, I agree with the thought that kids are getting mislead here these days. I have childhood memories of going to Subway everyday and making sure to get the whole wheat bread instead of white. Throw on some veggies, and boom…healthy stuff, eh? Yeah…LOL. White bread that’s made to look like whole wheat? That’s a nifty little trick.
I also convinced myself that as long as I got the “healthy” 6 inch sub, I could also get in my usual 6 inch meatball with cheese. Ah geez…tasty stuff that meatball sub was…
I like Subway. Meatball hoagies are good. So are double meat Clubs with everything.
Shugs is off-base, Subway markets their 6 under 6 hoagies as 6 inchers without cheese or sauce. Nothing misleading about that. People that add cheese, italian dressing, chips and a pop to that and think they are still eating healthy are just fucking retarded.

Steel? I am not a Subway customer so I don’t know this, so when you go in and order a 6-inch do they direct you on how to make healthier choices?
and yes… many people seem to be challenged and completely confused when I see what it is that they think is healthy.
Funny thing I was at Sams club buying Toilet tissue and such in bulk…Way cheaper. When i was checking out, there was mom (on the verge of Diabetes) and son (on the verge of Diabetes) and they where getting massive quantities of Monster drinks,Mountain dew, smart water, Cheatos, and Mozzarella cheese…
I just wanted to say are you trying to kill your kid?

and she probably thinks the Smart Water is a healthy choice also…
There is no reason for those kind of food choices… although I do like Cheetos…

No, but they explicitly ask you about every topping, from cheese to lettuce to any sauce, condiment, or side item (cookie, drink, etc).

LOL DO what Jared did…LOL
What seems to get lost from the Jared plan is that he walked 5 miles a day (or something like that) while he was eating the Subway food. He could have eaten at BK and lost a ton of weight with that much walking.

It is listed right on the big menu that it is w/o cheese and dressing.

I thought I remember reading somewhere that he had some sort of weight loss surgery? Probably just a rumor?
