What’s with the sunglasses thing too?
I mean, how many different ways have you seen people store their sunglasses when not covering their eyes?
Once I thought I have seen it all, I see somebody with a new way to place them.
I guess just clipping them to your Polo shirt open buttoned neck isnt good enough any more.
Nothing is worse than the shirt “frat-tucked.” For those of you who are not familiar, it is when guys were polo shirts and tuck in the very front of their shirt, like they were going to make roorm for a gigantic belt buckle.
You mostly see this down south since nobody north of the Ohio River would be that stupid.
The best was when I was working with a our fraternity chapter at U of Alabama. About 90% of the guys were wearning Ralph Loren polos frat-tucked. I made fun of how they must all plan their wardrobes to make sure nobody wears the same shirt. Then the next day I wore mine to rip on them. The first guy I met with was wearing the exact same one. They still didn’t get the joke though.
Can anyone name a fashion trend that ISNT stupid?
The collar on a proper Polo shirt should always be tucked up. I’m talking traditional fashion here, not some trend. The shirt was traditionaly used by, and still is, you guessed it; Polo players. The collars on these shirts are not as long as some of the bastardizations you find in the U.S., so they naturally stick up. In places where Polo is popular, such as S.America(Argentina) and Europe(England) they continue to wear it that way. The Americans are just following suit.
I’m still trying to figure out why you’re so concerned about what other guys are wearing? I figured that was usually a chick thing?
I can’t honestly picture a guy’s locker room conversation that starts with “omg, dude! Did you see what he was wearing!!!”…

The only one that makes me say “why?” is when I see a guy in capris. Seeing that gives the same reaction as if I saw a guy wearing a skirt. Just odd.
As far as the collar up thing…I’ve done it. I kinda like it. I didn’t think of it, but if I want to, I’ll do what I like.
