Lol, yeah, except that adderal would be doing it wrong. What I mean it that adderall is merely a stimulant, not a genuine nootropic.
Adderal increases cortisol and as we know cortisol impairs memory, both in the acute and the chronic phases, by inhibiting neuronal activity at the hippocampus and infact inducing atrophy of the hippocampus.
Better to use modafinil and/or Spike for the stim aspect and then a combination of actual nootropics to improve cognition and memory.

Well, the topic at hand is study aids - and most people who are being honest would admit that a 30mg XR Adderall is infinitely more helpful than a Spike tab/shooter if you need to nail that big test in the morning.
While it is interesting that cortisol impairs memory, I don’t think it is hugely popular during finals because it makes people forget their worries better. In fact, my experience with it is the exact opposite of what you suggest should occur.
While traditional nootropics may be a better choice for daily use over years, Adderall is definitely an ace up the sleeve for those who need to get through a lot of information over the course of a night.
‘Someone’ I know reserves the adderall for when he has multiple projects due at about the same time and the task seems impossible. Something about it makes even the largest projects doable in one night so long as the preliminary works already been done. It kills the ability to sleep well and makes ‘his’ heart race and makes the next morning terrible.

A personal anecdote on Adderall: its legit shit.
Someone close to me used them during his MCATs, he said for the first day his pupils were pinpoints and studying was infinitely interesting. Second day, he couldn’t get to sleep. He just sat there and could focus on anything.
Eventually he just got out of bed and started watching Ronnie Coleman videos on YouTube until the sun came up.

Drugs work differently for everyone. Adderall and Focalin are the best study aids, if you can handle them.
As for the brain boosters that BBB recommended, those seem like a better fit, but the drugs I listed above are the best that I have used from a prescribed medicine standpoint.
Poliquin also makes a pretty good brain support supplement, but it is pricey as usual.

explosions in the sky taught me how to do things slowly
and then break it down really loud for a few seconds and go back to normal
adderall can be useful but it can sidetrack you also. I had a scrip that I never fill anymore because half the time I’d just end up keeping score on a baseball game from 1987 on ESPN classic all night. Or you know, fapping with extreme dedication.
there is also the danger of perfectionism with it. It makes you want to read EVERY book EVER written.
Did the adderrall thing once, it worked. I hate caffeine cuz I crash hard and jitter even harder. I’ve studied so much now that I’m good until about 5-6am sans uppers.
I remember once upon a time when my time management skills weren’t quite up to par, I would make my own ‘expresso’ drink. I took twice what was recommended for one cup of coffee, put that in a double shot glass, pour warm water in it, stir it, and down it. Wasn’t pleasant, but it did a great job at the time.

sounds a little like my protein shot. Put a heaping mound of protein on top of glass of water. Stir lightly and throw back.
