Study Abroad Locations

Hostel is in bratislava, czech republic.

About sweden; I’m guessing the gym situation is pretty similar to Norway. That means, if you stick to the big cities, you should be able to find a decent gym. If the student gym sucks, it might get a little expensive though… so take your time to figure out what places are both decent, and not too expensive.

Yeah I’ve seen Hostel I know how this works…

?

Haha, wasn’t that movie supposed to take place in Slovenia? Anyway, I have to stick to the list. Right now I’m torn between:

Sweden
Austria
Czech Republic[/quote]

which movie?

if your goal is to learn about international business I would pick one of either HK or Singapore and possibly Austria

thailand sounds cool but id be scared of getting a tranny since theyre so abundant there.

austria seems like itd be fun. so does chech but idk isnt it cold as shit and lots of terrorists?

I can recommend Hong Kong, as that’s what I’m currently doing.

This is the place for international business.

Prague is cheap though, and they drink savagely, so if that’s fun to you… I mean, go with that.

Austria sounds good. After all it is the home of the “Austrian Oak”. You can easily travel to other countries.
It does have other music besides Mozart
Dead Soul Tribe
Before The Fall
Edenbridge
Septicemia
Asmodeus
Belphegor
some gyms listings

“Cold as shit” would wipe norway, sweden and denmark off the list too

well, i’ve been to sweden, denmark, and the czech republic so my vote, for me at least, would be for thailand.

a westerner can live like a king down there.

but you’re into blonds so maybe you want to stick with the scandinavian countries. do you know where in each of those countries you’d be because that can make a huge difference.

The “scandinavian blonde” myth was shattered for me last year. Some of the natives were slobs, downright ugly and blocky and overall most were plain and lacking sex appeal. Not to say that true blondes are NOT the norm. The best looking ones were either russian or american (gasp) tourists.

just been talkin to a swedish friend of mine on msn. She told me Stockholm (Sweden) is full of beautiful hot sexy blondes. And yeah swedish girls are mostly ready to bang when they know ya for some time. They really do love sex, anyway, who doesn’t? The downside is that it’s a pretty expensive place to live in. Personally, I’ll try get a job in Sweden in a couple of years if I pass exams etc… Seems theres a good pay for electrical/electronics engineers there.

i’ll also say that i think the city i’ve been to with the most attractive women, overall, was Prague. beautiful city too.

Eastern European chicks can be hot but they often look like a younger version of someone’s grandmother to me. If that makes any sense.

I definitely want to do a Euro trip as apposed to Asia. It’s not so much I like blondes but I’m not at all into Asian women. That “Things White People Like” thread is BS!

I got more paperwork and it looks like its:

Vienna, Austria (Vienna Univ. of Economics and Business Admin.)
Lund, Sweden (Lund University)
Brno, Czech Republic (Mendel University)

I was expecting Stockholm and Prague for the latter two.

I am almost leaning toward Brno at this point because it is only two hours from both Vienna and Prague and not far from Bratislava either (shit I guess I will be going where Hostel was) according to Wikipedia and Google maps. I could live there and still check out all these other cities with ease.

What do you guys think??

And I want to thank everybody for all the input btw.

I’ve been studying at Lund and Vienna, and have been visiting Brno frequently, so I can provide you with some insights.

Definitely Vienna. It’s a freaking big city, unlike Brno whose appeal sort of wears off after a while. In Vienna, you’re a stone throw from Bratislava - don’t get fooled by that stupid movie - it’s an awesome town filled with hot chicks.

If you’re in Vienna, you’re close to everything. A couple of hours away from Eastern European destinations like Bratislava, Prague and Budapest (definitely visit the club scene), Ljubljana, Croatian coast…

I’ve banged my share of Swedish chicks and I must say I’ve noticed a disturbing trend - although still having pretty faces, most girls have this “blocky” appearance and are frankly quite fat without any visible waistline. They’re a bit overrated in my opinion, living on the reputation from the 70ies. No wonder fast food places in Stockholm are full all the time.

Another disadvantage of Sweden is the weather, which although often underestimated, can have a significant effect on the quality of your life.
