Good point. With respect to the weight used for laterals, OP refers to “15 KG Total,” which suggests (to me) that he’s using a 7.5 kg DB in each hand–much more realistic.
If he’s using a 15 kg DB in each hand, will have to see a vid of the 4-s negs to believe it.
Right folks. Thanks for the replies and help it is appreciated. I am going to dial things in until Christmas. So that’s a couple of months to try and make a wee bit of progress. All I am after is a wee bit, nothing major, something just to spur me on a bit because 3 years with fcuk all is a long time.
The lat raises, yep when I say total that’s 7.5kg each side, I couldn’t do 1 with a 15kg dumbbell. The slow eccentrics burn like a bitch even using 5kg dumbbells.
Dude you lost like 70lbs. That’s unbelievable progress. You should be happy with yourself.
One little thing to address:
This isn’t because you did something wrong, more just that you didn’t have any muscle mass. I mean, it’s not like if you’d cut differently you’d have looked like Arnold, because that wasn’t the physique hiding under the fat, y’know?
Am i reading this your squatting 160kg weighing 160lbs? With your level of development? Agree your definitely not training intensely enough, i see this all the time. People do the same weights day in day out never going crazy when needed…
