1/8/15 I did things in a different order than normal and it had bigger impacts than i expected.
Warmups/ stretch
Squat 135x3x5 225x2x3 275x2 315x1/ 335x8 This was physically easy but mentally hard i had planned on this since last week but somewhere along the way the switch flipped from “easy no prob” to “hope i can do it”
Pwr C+J 8x2/ 215/220/225/230/235/240x2+1 245x1 as it landed on my shoulders my phone rings (I lift in a HS wt room and had my phone connected to the stereo) so i had to go get my phone ended up being my dad back from a trip and he talked to me for about 15 min by this time i was to cooled down from cleans and just moved on
Press 115x5/ 130x5/ 150x8 very tough my shoulders and arms were shot after C+J/ 115x12
chins bdy 2x12
abs 8x10-15
good workout need to be more mentally focused on positives and next time maybe just not answer the phone, its a tough decision though when its your father haha.

1/11/15 Sunday
first week of LE skills was ok, just as i expected i need to really increase core strength and just conditioning in general, I have plans for that.
Bench 210x5/ 240x3/ 270x1,1,1 three singles your supposed to hit a couple progressive singles after the first one but i had no spotter and the 270 was tough enough today. It may be finally time to readjust TM, and work on pausing better.

big day today on these was just explosive and really found a great groove on jerks

great day today, but need to get the abs and lungs up, im definately not the worst in shape person in my LE combatives class, but the last thing i want is to have that class suck, i want to kick ass and take names.

1/13/ Tues
great day, only got 5.5 hours of sleep but felt ok and ended up doing good.
Push press 165x5/ 190x3/ 210x1 220x1 230x1 all these were smooth and easy
Front Squat 210x5/225x4/240x3/255x2/275x4 happy with this stopped the set when my bar speed slowed. easily had more but savin it for the PR set next session.
Deadlift 350/395/445x5 lifetime PR on DL*
face pulls 2x20
talked to a buddy and got some “easy” bodyweight and conditioning workouts from when he was a wrestler for me to slowly break into so i can slowly and surely combine the two so my combatives class will be more of a breeze and still allow me to work on strength. tonight will be my first workout and will normally do 2-3 days of it on “off days” pretty excited for it actually.
gonna bring this back, i still lifted through my LE class but stopped logging it on here but i enjoyed doing it so ill start again.
some recent PRs Squat 365x9 Bench 255x8(ez) Deadlift 435x9 press 185x5 ( I got all these on my 5/3/1+ week)
i graduated just fine and now have my full focus back on improving strength, this week is a deload and then beginning the 531 strenth challenge and possibly doing a meet on October 3rd, not positive yet though need to see where i am in the process of being hired.
