I look forward to leg days, now. I am starting to love squat day more than any other day of the week. I have no idea why, it certainly is not much fun while gutting out a couple reps in a last set, but for some reason, I feel like I wanna go squat every day instead of doing my other workouts during the week.
I honestly almost decided to just forget deadlifts totally, and do squats twice a week in my current program, I couldn’t decide if I would just do the same 5/3/1 template twice, or if I would do some low reps, working up to a max on the 2nd squat day, hehe. I controlled myself and decided to at least keep deadlifts in for a cycle or 2, but I might end up doubling up the squats eventually.
I used to hate them so much.
I’m feeling this way about squat right now. But I think it’s because I’m in a progress phase. I have found that I can maintain my DL without training it if I do heavy squats frequently.
Well the orthopedic surgen who runs owns the crossfit also runs a health and longevity clinic. My wife is best friends with his sister in law. For $1500 a year I can get my Test replacement and labs. Wife said if I did this though I would have to go to crossfit for more than once a week. I can talk her into two, but that puts me lifting 6 days a week? What do you all think.

I don’t understand. Why are you required to do CF twice a week? And six days a week is a lot.
Hahahahahaha
My wife has been doing it for a year and a half. She has some what drank the Koolaide. But the other thing is my wife also likes to spend time with me. My work and hers for that matter pulls us in a lot of different directions. She views this as quality time.
Okay I have been consistently working out 4 days a week now for 2 years without TRT.
Could I handle another couple of days with TRT?
What I would do is drop some of the accessory lifts on heavy lifting days since I would be working out 2 more days.

Asshole.
Not much Dixie just trying not to die on Saturdays with the wife. I have done some crazy shit after 20 years of lifting, however I have never done what is in that picture.
Now in HS I did sneak in the weight room a couple of times and did a girl on the leg press.

Do you need the TRT?
Honestly yes I do. I spent Saturday afternoon talking with the Doc, went to a MMA event with him. He is the fight Dr. I have a lot of the symptoms and I am approaching 40, why cant my T levels be what they were in my 20’s? Why do men have to suffer lower T with having to deal with the stigma of TRT?
He doesnt cycle, he is not doing BB type replacement. He is truthfully trying to do longevity, by keeping our T levels in the normal adult T levels.

I inadvertently started it. I said “lockout…WORK IT!” in response to someone (cant remember who) struggling with their lockout. InkAddict got a hold of it, and it caught on as a joking response to the “intensity t shirts” etc.

Okay wimped out this morning just too fucking tired to drag ass out of bed. I think I will need to bump up calories for a week or so, starting to get run down.
