HaHaHa that is actually a Vigamox cup I got from a drug rep. Vigamox is for like herpes of the eye.

Not really just for pink eye.

Thursday Deload week

Floor press Fat Gripz

135 X 2 X 5
185 X 3 X 5

Bench narrow grip Fat Gripz

185 X 5 X 5

Close grip bench

135 X 2 X 8

On the home stretch, just have to get through 5 days.

FUCK been playing the New Vegas fallout and forgot to set my clock this morning to workout. Now get to do another Saturday workout then mow the grass. Thank the lord it is deload week.

^Better than work/work… Which is exactly where I will be.

During the winter months I like the Sat. morn. training. More sleep during the week & much fresher on a Sat. morn.

Saturday morning training is a nice change of pace since I do legs on Friday or Saturday. So not a big deal. But in the fall I really like watching game day on ESPN also.

Saturday Deload last day feeling randy

Front Squat narrow stance ass to heels

135 X 2 X 5
185 X 2 X 5
205 X 2 X 5
225 X 2 X 3
245 X 1 X 1
265 X 1 x 1
305 X 1 X 1 I guess this would be a PR since I havnt done heavy front squat in many, many years.

Going to do a couple of rotations with front squat narrow stance, been feeling some pain to my right lateral hip after doing heavy back squat. Been doing back squat for 13 months now, also going to change to conventional dead lift. Drop down in weight and work back up. Yea I get to eat a meal today.

Thats some beastly front squatting.

Great work in here. Do you find that you get enough air on a heavy front squat? Whenever I get over about 90% on a front squat its like a gamble whether I’m going to get it racked before I pass out.

Thanks Joe

Little trick I learned a few years back. I have very limited flexibility in my wrists, power clean is a real bitch. So on front squat I take my straps and wrap them around the bar, then I grab the strap sticking out I wrap my hands around it. This makes me keep my hands and wrists actually above the bar, thus the bar is resting on my deltoids. So while it is pressing on my throat it is not cutting off air, I will take a picture next week.

Thanks, I’d appreciate a pic. I really like hitting front squats for heavy singles but I just don’t like the feeling of almost passing out.

Would love to see a vid of your front squats.

Nice work.

I will try to do that, see if the wife will video. Also down to 215 pounds, havent seen that in a few years. 3 more days of the diet, then a month of one meal a day which will be heaven.

Damn good work on the numbers bro. I to am interested in seeing how you’re working the strap as both of my wrists have been broken. So I have absolutely no flexibility in mine.

I use my straps the same way on front squats. Works well.
