Strong Words... Atomic Bomb

Well I was discussing war, why we do it and why chimps to it. Its human behavior, raid and rape, so it obviously does apply to war even if it happened 60 years ago. You were the one trying to argue that American soldiers are perfect and never raped, killed innocents, or stole. I explained how that is impossible, especially in a war that HUGE.
Show me where I said that we were perfect. Go ahead. Oh wait - you can’t because you are a fucking liar.

On a similar note - where’s the fucking proof that substantiates your claim that the U.S. was guilty of war crimes in WWII?

Not only are you a fucking liar, but when asked to prove your positon with something other than your 19 year-old opinion, you are a no show.

WHat an little TSB.

If you want back up for what I wrote pick up the April edition of scientific American and read their cover story entitled “The splice of life: Why humans don’t need more genes”

That will explain what I’m talking about. If you spent more time in the library professor, we wouldn’t have to spend so much time schooling you.

I decided to try your own tactic on you for once, and you got pissed about it.

Define ‘war crimes’. I said U.S. soldiers raped, killed innocents, and stole at some location at some time during the war. I don’t think there are many people who would oppose that statement.

Once again, you’re a hypocrite. You were completely unable to prove how I “didn’t listen to a thing” “didn’t learn a thing” and “failed to respect others”, so why are you bitching now?

Go listen to some Avril Lavigne, that IS one of your favorites isn’t it? LOL

I didn’t ask for your source, nor do I really give a fuck. You schooled yourself by showing that you can’t read and follow a simple request, such as answering a question.

Here’s what you missed, read it and answer it this time, professor:

How do you define ‘complex’ in that sentence?

You didn’t explain why you think the number of genes we have in relation to other animals isn’t important, therefore you’re making a blanket statement with no backup.

What does “extracting multiple meanings from individual genes” mean?

If you read the article, explain it. And what exactly do either of those statements have to do with the DNA of great apes being nearly 100% identical to that of humans?

I’m not the one that called our guys war criminals, or accused them of war crimes - you did that. Or did you conveniently forget that little tidbit?

XCelticX wrote:
EVERY nation involved in the war commited war crimes. We may not know of every single one(although I’m sure it wouldn’t be hard to find plenty of first hand accounts of U.S. war atrocities during WW2)

These are your words. Either admit that you are fucking liar, or just shut the hell up. Either way - you have no proof of your accusations. And if I’m reading your words correctly, you said it would be easy to find the proof i ask for.

I like Avril - and she has bigger arms than you do.

what a little self-assured blowhard this guy is. it’s very ironic that a pompous know-it-all usually is the one who knows the least.

maybe you should research some of these subjects and gain a true understanding before you continue to make an ass of yourself.

for what it’s worth, you seem like someone who skimmed over the coles notes version of these subjects and filled in the blanks with your own theoretical crap. to have an informed opinion, you must first be fully educated on the topic at hand and have the ability to make logical, un-biased deductions and/or reasoning when stating your argument.

your efforts just make you look like a little punk who got in over his head and is now scrambling to save face…well, too late.

Watching everyone pistol-whip Xcel sure gives my T a boost!

“No bastard ever won a war by dying for his country.
He won it by making the other poor dumb bastard die for his country.”

I meant war crimes to mean rape, the killing of innocent civilians, and theft or destruction of property. Like I said, I don’t need to provide proof of that being done by American soldiers because if you honestly believe that not one American soldier did one of those things, you are an idiot and I won’t waste my time with you.

Then your sad attempts at insulting me match your taste in music.

You said it owuld be easy to find the proof. You said you would have it for me last night when you got back from ‘lifting’. So are you just lazy? Or are you the liar I’ve accused you of being? Changing your mind and telling me that I’m an idiot if I don’t follow you logic is a pretty lame puss out. Ask anyone around here and just see if I’m not right on this one.

You are the one making the charge - you have to bring the proof. That’s how it works in the real world, kiddo.

There was no insult involved. I like Avril’s songw writing skills, her make up skills, and it is fairly obvious that she is indeed more muscular than you. Although you do have her beat in the boob department.

you are entitled to your opinion! however, your opinions have been broken down and dissected by much more knowledgeable members, and proven to be ill-founded.

you have been owned!!!

I NEVER CLAIMED TO ‘KNOW IT ALL’. If I’m corrected I acknowledge that, AS I’VE DONE in this thread. Thing is, you probably read a couple posts and then skipped to the reply so you could say “you got owned” like a middle schooler playing a computer game.

Why don’t you share your SAT score, or maybe your GPA. If you’re gonna throw around insults, back it up.

You talk alot about how I ‘know it all’, when I never once claimed anything like that in any post I’ve made… hmm.

‘These subjects’? What are ‘these subjects’? WW2 is one. I admitted myself I hadn’t studied it in depth(although I know some about it), but if you’re referring to apes, dna, behavior or whatnot, I would ‘own’ you without trying. I do know about that, its my major and its in my interest to know about it. So don’t try talking like you know me, you’re just making an idiot of yourself.

I don’t have to scramble to save face, I only regret about 3 of my posts on this website, and I can stand by and defend what I said. So quit trying to beat down my self-esteem and attitude, you’re not good at it and its not going to change.

lol who exactly has ‘pistol-whipped’ me? Copy and paste where that happened, if ya don’t mind. I’m sure I’ll get a good kick out of it, but I won’t get aroused after reading my threads as it appears you do.

Could we just tactical nuke Xcel so he’ll stop posting a bazillion stupid posts at a time.

Get a grip already. If you had put this much energy into your diet and nutrition you’d actually have accomplished something in the last five years.

Well you are right, I did say that. Maybe I am lazy, but I came back and realized that what you were asking me to do would be a complete waste of time and effort, even the little it required.

Its not a lame puss out if my logic is RIGHT.

Well kiddo, the internet forums at t-mag.com are not the ‘real world’ so your argument doesn’t work. Tell ya what, when you prove my logic wrong, which is impossible in this case, I’ll go search for a first hand account written by someone who was raped, knew someone who was a civilian and was wrongly killed, or had property stolen or destroyed by American soldiers.

lol I’m sure you know her exact weight, being such a huge fan, but I would estimate around 100lbs. That’s 74lbs off of my weight, but good try.

By the way, she doesn’t have ‘song writing skills’. If you want to see some real rock songwriting skills, check out Tool or Perfect Circle. Not quite the same style, but at least they have talent (the natural kind and the kind that takes year to get).
XCelticX wrote:

How could you not see the obvious distinction between a Japanese soldier who killed allies and possibly committed the atrocities you speak of and a civilian working in the factory most of the other civilians were working in providing for the war effort? What would you expect them to do, try to find work elsewhere? Leave their mothercountry? Ignore or be against the war effort, making thousands of enemies out of your own countrymen?
Keep going that direction, and you’ll see that even the soldiers may be innocent. After all, most of them are conscripts.

Point is, innocence of the dead doesn’t matter in time of global war. All the wars you’ve seen in your lifetime have been limited wars with scalpel sharp technology, and that’s how you got this cockamamie notion anyone should care about innocence. Even today, that notion is just a bunch of BS straight to you from your government, via TV-land.

It’s BS with a purpose, too. The purpose is to convince you that war is not so bad, after all: we have wonderful technology and we will avoid killing innocent civilians.

When you grasp the idea that in war innocence doesn’t matter as to who gets killed, you will be on your way to understanding why war is such a terrible thing.

I NEVER said anything about America being ‘the bad guy’. America is hugely diverse. I hope your view on your own country isn’t that small. There are all kinds of people here who do and don’t agree with what America is doing for various reasons. Personally I think our military should be HERE and the billions and billions of dollars going into it should be snatched up and spent on things we actually need(we have the most powerful army in the world, so our leaders must have some serious security paranoia).

Maybe that has something to do with the 70+ countries we are in. No country except us is arrogant enough to station troops where they obviously aren’t needed.

How bout instead of spending 30 million dollars on an airplane, you donate that to the 14% of the population below poverty level. Hell, thousands of people could be living better just from the money not being spent to make 1 jet, but America says fuck that.

 1. Yes Americans committed war crimes, they raped, they murdered, they stole, etc. There are bad eggs in every basket but the majority were moral men fighting a just war.

 2. Yes we could have ended the war with the vast amount of fire bombing missions. Trouble is we needed to end the war sooner than fire bombing allowed. The Germans were far beyond us in many military technologies and were actively sharing their knowledge with the Japs. The Japs were actively involved in the development of biological and chemical weapons. We needed to stop them then and there.

 3. Do you know why we stations troops around the world? No, thought so. Do you have any idea how long it takes to mobilize a decent size fighting force and then support that unit? We need “outposts” out in indian country to be prepared to counter and stall any aggressive action taken by another nation or organization. This buys the time to bring out our heavy and VERY SLOW decisive weapons.

 4. U.S. leaders have a very good reason to be paranoid. Have you looked at China recently? They’re spending money up the wazoo on their military. Interesting thing is that there is no true threat to them. They are preparing to bully the U.S. They are developing weapons that are designed to attack American technology - air to air missiles with far longer ranges then anything we have, planes that can out perform anything we have (except the ~30 million dollar F-22 Raptor, guess what? Your Kerry voted against funding that program, weakening our Air Force.).

Point is that the U.S. is not going to be the biggest kid on the block pretty soon. There are real threats out there and we need to increase the spending on our military to develop better technology and training.

China may not be a serious threat now but in ten, twenty years or so, watch out. However, to combat this growing menace in the east we need to act now and be prepared to keep the balance of power. But if we do what celtic wants, the shit will hit the fan and when it does…maybe Mr. Celtic will even get his butt drafted, now there would be irony.

Take a look around, skippy. You are the only one that doesn’t see how easy it has been for almost everyone on this thread to hand your ass to you.

The really sad part is that you don’t even see it. That is what we call stump chopping stupid around these parts.

Isn’t it swell? Puts me in mind of that Monty Phython skit where two knights do battle and one is reduced to a basket case, as with each limb lost he’s still hollering the victor never laid a glove on him, come back and fight like a man, etc.

Oh, I think he sees alright. I’m gonna go lift.
