Strong Enough to Correct Them

Back Attack Thursday

A. Band Assisted WG Chins - 6 sets (about 40 reps)
B. T-Bar row (w/ new handle) - 4 sets
C. HS Seated CG Row - 3 sets
D. HS High Row - 3 sets
E. Machine WG Pulldowns - 7 sets
F. HS Machine Pullovers - 4 sets
G. DB Hyper’s - 4 sets

Notes: Love the new T-bar handle. Threw step under bar since I’m 5’8 with longish arms so that I could get a stretch out of the hole. AWESOME! Worked about the 10 rep range and was using 3p + 25. MUCH tougher than the CG/V handle version where I can double that. (Git, it was $53 shipping in from a T.O. based company)

DB Hyper’s are pretty awesome for your erectors. Go dig through Meat’s log and he has a BB version (which I’ve tried and like). I just grabbed DB’s, pin scap back and then hyper. MASSIVE pump. I used the 50’s.

I was wiped last night after the session. I didn’t feel too bad DURING but man, 3hrs later I was fighting my eyelids.

Nice tip on that T-bar handle. Now that the shed is put back together, I can start doing them again. One of my favorite back movements. PM me the company, if you don’t mind.

I also love t-bars, I vary the grip fron close grip heavy to wide grips at lighter weights. I feel it way more with much better control than bb rows.

sup brother? How did you like those banded sm mach jm presses?

Where is your weight currently at? Down from your carb cut? Have you added in any additional conditioning work? I have been adding about 2lbs every 3 days:) getting to work with that fork I am.

Are you still enjoying pumpkin bars?

Yonkey my man, incline SM JM presses with bands are pretty torturous. I think I used 155 and the property (black) bands.

Weight has stalled out at 201 and I have not added cardiovascular work into the mix yet. I’m holding off until april for that.

I am still enjoying pumpkin bars. That’s working out very well.

So it’s been just over a year since I started this log and I think the picture sums it up nicely.

Looking to finish 2012 stronger than anyone can imagine.

It’s good to know I was actually strong enough to correct all my mistakes and come out on top of 2011.
