self-defense and the defense of family so unconcerned with their physical health? After all, you may need to move in a bad situation, right? Seems like GPP or General Physical Preparedness, would cross their minds. Basically, being fit enough to fight if necessary, or at least run away.
Unconcerned can be due to a lack of education regarding defense or they’re simply lazy.
I was no less than 150lbs overweight when I took my first concealed carry class. (Have lost 172 and am 6’2”/225 now.
What I can tell you from that perspective is that out of shape fat people do firearms training so they may b legally carry a fistfight and grappling elimination system AKA a firearm. I could have drawn and fired no n problem but as soon as I had no pistol my chances decreased exponentially and I knew so.
The laws regarding disparity of force are ok their side.
We however are able to move and shoot AKA “Rum & Gun,” and because of what it takes in a person to train in the gym translates well in to firearms and other things that require self-discipline.
As a man who spent several years VERY out of shape I can say these people ain’t likely that interested in those sort of details because they’re preoccupied with the next snack.
Lastly let’s remember there have been many weak people who were smart enough to find a force multiplier. You have to watch those types else they may try to overwhelm with hardware to offset their physical ineptness by overcompensating for the paunch with hardware so to speak.
If my saying fat bothers anyone, I was morbidly obese for years due to disability I knew WTH I’m talking about, dont worry about my words that offend listen to my story that inspires.
Adios but the last thing is something my wife reminded me of just yesterday
