Anyone notice the onset of websites linking/hosting tv shows and movies, most if not all of which are copyrighted material? I was curious if any of you watch tv/movies on said sites, and if any lawyers on T-Nation knew the legalities of how these sites work? My understanding is that they merely link to out of country hosting services such as youtube and dailymotion for example.
I should clarify, do u watch them and if so is it the same as downloading illegal content and could you not be held liable or no?
What sites are you talking about? I must be getting old cos I haven’t heard of them ![]()
My guess would be that they’re in legal limbo at the moment, but will probably become illegal once the networks catch on a lobby against them. Same as mp3 sharing sites back in the day.
Obviously, I’m not a lawyer.
i dont think i can post links, they are very hard to find but archive 100’s of tv shows/cartoons/movies(new and old) that you just click on play and watch.

If they’re that difficult to find, then there shouldn’t be a big legal problem. Just a little legal problem ![]()

He’s asking about the legality of these sites. I’ve wondered this myself.
