Going back to re-read your other threads it sounds like all you needed was a dosage reduction, a lot of the symptoms you’re describing are excess testosterone and estrogen related.
Exactly. I did just that and felt way worse. Why I quit
I’m going to see what natural does and then get a new doc in town that is much better. I was at the wrong place to begin with
I think there’s a miscommunication here.
I was thinking if I was dosing 120mg once per week and my SHBG came back high, I’d try smaller and more frequent doses to lower it.
I got a little mixed up with his high SHBG before TRT and high SHBG while on TRT one injection per week at 120. His SHBG was not high on TRT at 120mg one injection per week.
Never taken one injection a week. That’s stupid. I was taking smaller more frequent. I felt best at 200mg a week dosing twice. However my total test got above 1500 and estrogen was around 17-18. I believe I should donated and would have felt great possibly? Not sure.
@shanea655
Were you on an AI? My total T is 1999 and my E2 is almost 80. If you weren’t on an AI then something is up.
Its not stupid. It’s pretty normal to inject once a week. I’ve done it for a long time. Even gone two weeks between injections with no problems.
Any AI? My TT is over 1500 and e2 over 70… no AI, obviously. And no issues with estrogen.
I was on an AI absolutely. Which I believe caused some issues as well. I did quit the AI and even after a month of not using it, still didn’t feel right. After I donated my symptoms have been better, meaning lower bp, not as tired etc
This comment sticks familiarity with my experience of iron deficiency after the first 6-8 months on TRT, was always tired and fatigued and the reason was multiple mineral deficiencies. I never did feel good with higher HCT anywhere near 50 percent, I feel better when it is <47 percent.
It may very well be that you need sufficiently elevated testosterone while HCG is on the lower end and that may not be possible on TRT because TRT increases HCT more than if having natural testosterone.
You could try splitting up your doses multiple time per week, this keeps my HCT lower than when injecting less frequently.
You previously stated you lowered your dosage and felt worse, this happens after lowering the dosage as levels become unstable for 6 weeks and takes time to start feeling good again.
Whenever I adjust dosages, I lose the benefits of TRT for least 6 weeks.
What’s the point of using PCT for going off TRT? Is it just to speed up your own body’s startup of it’s previously low T levels?
Couldn’t one just go cold turkey? It’s not like you’re going to keep any gains from TRT.
Basically when I dontated blood Bp went down to normal. That was my biggish issue with trt but took 8 months to donate. I might go back on if I dose and donate every 4 months possibly. Maybe I have to do it. I can’t walk around with 150/100 bp. Not going to work. I was super high on rbc / hemoglobin/ hemocrit. Some say don’t donate which if that’s the case I can’t ever go on trt. I felt best 200 total weekly dosing twice, Tuesday and Friday. Dosing every other day wasn’t so great for me
Also been off trt for 2 weeks and feel ok. However I am pissing a ton. Any reason why?
E2 going down, losing water weight I would guess.
Do you think that this might be the cause of me feeling like crap rite now because my shbg is high and my free T is not that great?
@systemlord I am on Clovis as we speak my shbg was never this high before
Clomid
It will speed things up, in some cases they never really get going without the help, in some cases they never really get going again. Either way, it can be a long rough go without the PCT.
