I’ve been using small doses of testosterone enanthate for about 7 months and want to come off it but I’m concerned for my mental health!
I’m 41, Male, 102kgs, 18% BF.
I started on 2ml (500mg) of Testosterone Enanthate each week and loved training 5-6 days a week.
After 12 weeks I decided to come off the test, but after 1 week without Test I felt super depressed and unmotivated very quickly. All i wanted to do was sleep and eat chocolate and couldn’t get myself to the gym.
I got back on the test and felt amazing again, only taking 1ml per week (250mg) and have been doing so for the past 3 months.
I wanted to come off the test so I stopped 2.5 weeks ago. The first two weeks I felt fine. But after two weeks without a pin I am completely unmotivated and depressed again. I haven’t been able to get out of bed to go to the gym (I haven’t trained for a week). I could easily stay in bed all day if I didn’t have to get to work. And then at work, I am completely useless.
I found some Nolvadex (Tamoxifen citrate) at home which I read was a good PCT to take. For the last 3 days I have been taking 40mg with the plan to go down to 20mg next week, but I don’t appear to be feeling much better.
I know I haven’t been taking huge doses, but the depression is real.
My questions are
- Did I start taking the Nolvadex too late?
- Will the Nolvadex be enough to get my hormones balanced and back to feeling normal again?
- How long can I expect to start feeling normal again?
After 6 months being off the test I may look to see a GP and to get a legitimate prescription to proper Testosterone instead of dodgy street Test.
