I was hoping that TRT would help me trim back some of this annoying belly fat, but it hasn’t really. I eat decently well, probably about 3k calories a day, and workout 3-4 hours a week. Scale says I’m at just under 13% BF, so it’s not high by any means.
I still have slightly elevated prolactin, which I was just reading can contribute as well. Working on this problem as we speak.
To be clear, I’m not expecting TRT to make me look like Ronnie Coleman, but I had a 6 pack in my early 20s, and it’d be nice to at least get a little leaner (without starving myself).
I learned this the hard way when I started and was trying anastrozole. Couldn’t figure out where the hell the gut was coming from. Dropped the AI and it improved.
Meeting with a new endo this week, which I assume will lead to an E2 test. Curious where it’s at between the belly fat and some nasty anxiety/depression issues I’ve been going through. Doesn’t feel unlike when I was on the AI. But no real reason for low E2 right now.
