Stevie Wonder Boycotts Florida

Did Zimmerman stop and/or search Martin? If so, I have missed a big detail, and retract everything I’ve said. If not, then what Zimmerman did is totally different than what government agencies do.

And I think this is the solution. Everybody whining about this with no regards to the facts at all, wanting to change laws that had nothing to do with the incident and insisting on the government to commit double-jeopardy should grow a pair, get together an ol’ fasion lynch mob and go kill George Zimmerman. If you think he deserves to die, go kill him and let his blood be on your hands then.
Rather than cluttering up the streets with protests that have nothing to do with the actual case, race, STG laws, etc. Go get Zimmerman and deliver justice yourself.
I would have no issue with you lot doing that.

Just saying, if you think the man should hang, go hang him.

I prosecutor who wanted this guy to serve time, would not have charged him with murder 2, there was no way to get him on that.

I am not sure , IMO things would be less angry if Zimmerman got some time . I personally can not see anything but Zimmerman willfully killing Martin . I could not say premeditation but willfully for sure .

I certainly agree with this. I don’t believe any evidence was presented which showed Martin was killed accidentally.

I don’t think you understand me , It could be argued (Probably NOT SUCCESSFULLY ) that Martin was planning to kill some one

We agree again. Anything can be argued.

There is a reason for SYG laws. Without them you end up with 60 year old guys going to jail for murder because he got attacked by a group of teens stomping his face in and shot one of them. All because the jury decided in a pause between 2 of the stomps, he had the chance to run away.

At least down here in Florida we stop to rescue people trapped in vehicular accidents. Just today this guy was rescued with the help of a guy named George Zimmer…WAIT!! WHAT?! Strange days.

George Zimmerman, who has been in hiding since he was acquitted of murder in the death of Trayvon Martin, emerged to help rescue someone who was trapped in an overturned truck, police said today.

This is what the Reverend Jesse Jackson would say…“huh Zimmerman caused the accident so he could huh look like a hero…Boycott Florida.”

Stop trying to make sense now. That is the shit that needed to be stated during the trial. Instead the public as a whole had more fun yelling racism and name calling (thug, gangbanger) this shit has become a monster that now has placed a law made to protect All honest citizens into a law based on gun owners and white people.

What he fuck. SYG was not even a real factor in the trial.

After getting stopped by the police for the umpteenth time he kind of put two and two together. [/quote]

Stevie Wonder drives a car? That guy is more talented that I thought.

In my opinion we may need to tweek our Judicial system , I would never agree to prosecute an old man that was being attacked by a gang of youths . I also think ALL evidence should be admissible and the Jury can decide on relevance . I think prosecution should present their side , defense their’s and the jury decide on what the defendant is guilty of or innocent . I think the Legislative branch then the Judge then the Jury determines guilt or innocence . I think mandatory sentencing is absurd

I will also go farther out on the limb and say because of the drug war we have about %70 too many cases in our Judicial system let alone the Jail system. And we have to rethink our Jury system . We ask people that serve on a Jury to foot the bill ( mean ,miss their pay check ) with the exception of a miniscule amount . Tax payers should pay the Jurors pay while they are deciding the case . We could get some intelligent people if they did that

Had they gone for assault with deadly weapon, he would have gotten time. But everybody wanted blood for blood. They wanted a murder charge and that’s what they got, even though there was no way in hell to convict him of that.

All a jury knows is what they learned on CSI and Law and Order. A jury can not know what to bring as a charge without the Prosecution make a case for a particular crime.

I will kind of agree with you on the mandatory minimum sentences, but there should be some that have minimums. Like child rapists and murderers.

Apparently it was a family of four. Two children and their parents.

Very strange days.
