Steroids w/out Lifting? Gyno, Catabolism

I'm 5 weeks into a cycle currently. Up 20+ lbs. I added a lot of muscle to my chest and, before the cycle, I cut about 10 lbs of fat. All in all, I'm pretty happy with the cycle, and I've still got 7 weeks left! But I digress…

Since puberty I've had gyno (lumps of hard tissue under nipples). Until recently, those lumps weren't really visible. Now, however, the combination of fat loss and growing pecs have pushed the glands out, so I have the puffy/point torpedo nipples now. (There's no itchiness or soreness, so I'm pretty sure it's not the steroids that are doing this to me.) Anyway, I'm going to pay the damn $3000 to have plastic surgeon remove the gyno; After the surgery, I won't be able to lift weights for 6 weeks, which worries me. I haven't gone without lifting that long in many years, and I now that I have all this new muscle, I particularly don't want to stop lifting.

So I'm wondering, might it be a good idea to get the surgery while I've still got most of my cycle left? I'll waste the second half of my cycle, but at least the steroids will protect some of my current muscle from catabolism. Or, should I try to put on as much muscle as possible now, and then get the surgery after my cycle? (How much muscle might I loose in 6 weeks?) If I get the surgery after the cycle, should I wait until after PCT too?

You should wait till quite a while after your body has returned to its normal state. Any muscle you happen to lose at that point will come back in relativly short time due to muscle memory.

I wish you best of luck pogoman. I to have suffured all my life with puberty induced gyno. Because of that I have to be very careful when I’m cycling. I would have to agree with lillguy, finish your cycle and try to maintain the gains you have made from the cycle. Then after a few months have your surgery. The body is an incredible machine and any muscle lost after surgery will quickly come back.
