Steroids at 18?

Its not a touchy issue, I am sorry I came off that way, I just as I 19 year old don’t like those cliches responses. I’ve questioned my own hormonal profile at times but never had it tested.

I do know somebody whose is very very very low. And the doc won’t grant him much needed TRT because he is ‘too young’.

I’m sorry I came off like an ass. Its just irks me when everyone assumes all teenagers are full of hormones. Sure most are, but many are not.

I’m sure he is provided his gains-which I kind of segwayed there so I’m sorry, but anyway my disagreement was that he wouldn’t see gains. I think anyone would.

I really didn’t mean to be a dick, I’ve been working in the sun all day lol.

I’m 21 and I still want to fuck anything halfway attractive within sight. So… yeah.

If an 18 year old were to take a Cycle of Trenbolone With Clomid, i wonder if any really bad negative side effects would happen besides aggression acne and oily skin.

Seeing as its an androgen there is no aromatization so therefore, no small balls and bitch tits or water retention is there. Whats the worst that could happen with an 18 year old taking tren? or Deca?

Just Curious

No, i know plenty of guys who have done Nandrolone and never had any problems, but i guess every1s diff.

it took a good 4 years almost to get back to normal after a messed up deca cycle for me.

Meganewb - In some ways I think you have so much potential it would be a shame if you didn’t make the most of it (ie. take steroids). I strongly believe from watching you progress on this site that one day it will be the right choice for you.

However, to answer your question (18 vs 25) I’d have to say it depends on when you began puberty to some extent. For instance, I began AAS at 21 (the concensus for youngest age to start) but I took the view that being as I began “developing” at around age 9 (very odd - pubic hair, the lot) I had a somewhat higher biological age.

If you began puberty quite late at 15/16 (for instance), then AAS are probably the last thing you should be considering at 18 years of age.

Not an exact science, obviously, but it may help you make your decision.

That explains ALOT. I thought you were older, and just immature (in a good way). lol.

A couple pieces of advice:

  1. I would ahead a do a cycle when you feel you are completely prepares for it. However, I would make sure to have blood tests done prior (if you have T levels over say 1200 I would pass on the cycle).

Also make sure you have all the gear in good quality, and all the PCT around just in case. Also I would recommend doing a cycle of a short ester incase you do have side effects and need to stop the cycle early, or lower the dose.

  1. In terms of dropping weight while gaining strength: do you sprint at all? I find that sprinting can help drop tons of weight while at the same time helping tremendously with the posterior chain recruitment and strength.

Anything from 20 meters to 300 meters can be of big help for both those goals. Just make sure you are completely warmed up cause nothing will tear a hammy like sprinting if your not used to it.

I feel like i was somewhat in a similar situation as you, although not as strong or even close to as big. I did a couple short cycles of prop at 19. And while I ended up breaking some national PL records the drugs didnt actually end up helping my strength, only helped me gain muscle.

I also feel like, as someone who is as strong as you, you will end up moving to geared lifting, no matter what you think right now. It is indeed safer and there is a lot more recognition that comes along with it. Not trying to push to towards it, just saying.

Also, do you play sports, do you plan to play in college? because that could effect hat drugs you choose to take, as some can stay in your system for over a year.

just my 2 cents

I like that post getfast.

I havent added to this thread yet as i havent felt the need - now i do.

I would advise this; i agree that AAS are the way to go for this kid. But i also think that a few years further of natty competing and training is very wise… he should spend this time knowing that he is going to use and preparing for that, learning exactly which drugs to use, why and how. there are multitudes of options and it is not an easy subject.

I honestly would hate to learn that due to great potential, and possibly a little haste he had ruined himself through the incorrect and less than safe application of these drugs.

There are ways and methods to use some of these drugs that can allow certain men to achieve quite amazing feats of size and strength - natural talent provided - but there are many who fuck up with control of the (compulsory) side effect management and end up ruining their life or body at least.

I am sure he has trained for some time to get to the level he is at, but 18 is very very young and the body is not finished growing internally and externally. It would be bad for his future as a man and competitor to not allow his body to do as much as it can naturally first before assistiong it chemically.

I think that is the point from me - he needs to give his body 2+ more years to allow his natural hormones to settle, his body to fully fuse, and to finish becoming a man. At 18 one is not IMO.
In that time he can become an expert at what he is going to use, why and when to maximise his career, and his health.

Good luck.
