Steroids as Contraceptives

Fuck the pill. If she’s concerned about getting reliable, non-hormonal birth control, she should look into the IUD. (Paragard not Mirena) No hormones, nothing to remember to take or put in and it’s good for up to 10 years…

Do you use this? Side effects?

To address this stuff, along with the other thread about women and birth control you were directing me to…

  1. If you’re interested in how the IUD works and associated side effects, you can easily google it and find many sites dedicated to explaining various forms of birth control and women’s experiences with the copper IUD specifically.

  2. The IUD is likely the most invasive temporary form of BC a woman can get. If your GF is interested in alternatives to condoms, she should be the one doing the research.

  3. And as for your post in the BB forum about figure competitors and The Pill…You’re not likely to get much info there since there aren’t many women that frequent that forum. And I don’t think there are many guys in that forum with figure competitor girlfriends/wives that discuss what they do.

  4. Your best bet would have been to ask the ladies in Powerful Women since there are at least a couple that have strong opinions about various forms of BC. But you pretty much blew it over there when you posted that weird thread about what kind of bras women wear and how their boobs feel in them. And, by the way, going into a women’s forum, posting something really weird, and then getting pissed off that people haven’t answered “a simple question” isn’t the way to the ladies to respond to you.

  5. I think you’re either a troll or really fuckin’ weird.

  6. I wanted to know if “you” have experienced any side effects, if you now do use an IUD.

  7. I’m better at research and she’s busy at the moment.

  8. I was hoping it was common knowledge amongst figure competitors and bodybuilders.

  9. Questions about boobs and bras are weird?

  10. I’m really fuckin’ weird and one weird thing with me is that I can ask any question and have a serious discussion about it.

I do not currently have an IUD. If you’re so good at research you should have no trouble finding out about side effects. Just like you shouldn’t have had any trouble finding out about how people on the board feel about The Pill. It took me all of 15 seconds to come up with a list of dozens of BC related threads on T-Nation alone. This is not a new topic. Its been discussed many times before.

If you want to know what it feels like to wear a sports bra. Either put one on yourself, or ask your “girlfriend”. Don’t ask stupid shit like that in PW and then get all sandy-vag and claim that it was to help your “girlfriend” when no one takes you seriously. If she has tits and half a brain, she’ll be able to figure out whether or not a sports bra is comfortable on her own just fine.
