Steroid Posts in T-Cell Alpha

As long as guys like you don’t remove yourself from the cell so you can help answer things that might arise.

Will the mods sticky a cycle buffet though?

There would need to be some degree of rationale explained with them, but in laymans terms.

This way, the user (who will likely use anyway), can do so safely and effectively, with an understanding of what to expect and prepare for (possible sides, etc), without having to understand the mechanism of every freakin’ roid on the planet. And without having to purchase flame-resistant underwear…

Now I don’t agree with skimping on research necessarily, but I see this as the lesser of two evils. A compromise, ultimately designed to help users have an enjoyable and beneficial time.

Thoughts?

I like the idea, but don’t misunderstand me, I wasn’t condoning skimping on research, either. It was just what goes through my head regarding the research.

I guess what I would personally like to see I something broken down real basic. Forget a cycle, start with start with one steroid. Something common that most beginners would use in their first cycle.

Explain everything about it. EVERYTHING. Then move on. I mean, the Steroid Newbie Thread is great, but it’s a lot of info spread out over a lot of pages with a lot of “bumps” and other posts. It’s hard to wade through all that.

EDIT: I just had another thought. I’ll PM you, Bushy, to see what you think.

I like the idea of a “cycle buffet,” but there might have to be more than just 5 of them.

I’m thinking more along the lines of 5 specific time frames with specific goals within them. All in all, you could be looking at 20-30 different cycles, but it would be well worth it and much more thorough than just 5 cycles.

I think FuriousGeorge should have a bit of say on this subject as well, esp. with his cycle planning threads already stickied…

World

The steroid newbie thread sucks.

Yeah, I said it. There’s great info, but it’s spread out. The whole point was to put a lot of info in one place so people can easily find it without wading through old posts, but the thread has become really watered down. Plus newbies don’t want to read something with hundreds of posts, and people shouldn’t be using the newbie thread to ask questions. It should be a repository of information, such as basic cycles for different purposes, and should have restricted posting. If something needs to be added, post it in a new thread and ask a mod to add it to the stickied post. If enough people agree, it’s added. That way the newbie thread has 10-20 solid posts, is much more readable, and will actually be read by newbies because it won’t seem so overwhelming or time consuming.

So, the question is who’s up for condensing the thread into something worthwhile?

It would be both a great achievement and an amazing tool if you guys put together something of the magnitude World is speaking of.

It doesn’t even have to all be posted but something along the format of…

For the basics of Test E start here:

and that could be done for the basics and then the cycle buffet with basic timelines. Sure this would be time consuming and would have to be a jointed effort, but it’d be cool and would give something too immediately point at when people come with the repetitive questions.

It could be almost like an expansion on the “Steroids for Dummies” article.

I would love to help out on the nutritional aspect. My belief (of course I may be wrong) is that regardless of AAS use, genetics, training, etc. the bottom line comes downs to the food you put in your body on a daily basis. Alas, I too am a T-Cell reject (a single tear rolls down my cheek).

Malonetds’ idea was great!

Basically a Q & A between a veteran and a newbie.

Going further (again, his idea) the whole cycle could be ‘mentored’ on the thread.

Maybe one vet could tackle the training, one the nutrition, and one the drugs. Or whatever - that’s my idea and I’m not sure it’s a good one, haha! Too many cooks and all that malarkey.

I think that would be a great idea. Just to add to it, have that going in one thread but any questions in a separate. Much like the Physique Clinics have been set up. That way, the actual work, plan, and data doesn’t get muddied with all the people chiming in.

I did. I think it needs a disclaimer as such telling people that if they want to take steroids, they should read this (the newbie thread extract, as I like to call it) and have trained consistently for 4-5 years, are 21 or over, preferably over, and put on at least 30 lbs of LBM naturally.

I have a 321kb newbie thread stuff in my text document, I do not know if it will ALL post, but I’m gonna experiment. :D!

Okay, I jumped the gun earlier because wannabe is doing this right now and I had not seen this discussion (you guys are talking while I’m sleeping). I thought he was just doing it on his own and then saying “STICKY” without any backing from anybody.

And I agree, then newbie/vet AAS conversation would be awesome. Though I would rather see it a newbies/vets conversation, so that it doesn’t become one (two?)sided and limit itself.

That would help out a ton. Half of the thread is full of side conversations and bumps. It would make a full read much more doable for a true steroid newb. You have my vote.

Another great idea. Take a vet from each of the forums and have them advise the newb. That would be an excellent read.

Great idea, Bush. Do it.

Lol, it’s Mtd’s idea, and I would love to do it.

Just trying to figure out how’s best, is all.

We need a ‘newbie’ for a start. Also, since this might be better done by telephone, a US based vet would be better to conduct this.

A phone wouldn’t be that necessary if someone had access to the internet fairly easy and something like MSN.
