Steroid Cycles with IBD?

Don’t want to discredit what you’re saying because I didn’t do the research on the doc. But you said you didn’t get it checked. Ulcerative colitis leaves you with bloody stool, pain and extreme inflammation in an acute case. You get a fever even. I can’t think of someone shitting blood and not getting that checked out? Because if you didn’t have a autoimmune disorder of that magnitude in the first place, then some remedies like AAS could help. But that is not comparable what the OP has. I had a Gastritis for 4 months last year, couldn’t train, lost 20 pounds, couldn’t eat. It was severe and a really bad time but that’s not even comparable to what ulcerative colitis or Crohns is like.

Take me out the equation, dr lichten still cured many people of both UC and chrons,
With this methods,

He says. Dr Wilson claims to have fixed thousands of people with thyroid issues. Except he actually didn’t, but he has killed some and screwed some others up pretty bad if you check into him. Just because he claims it, doesn’t make it true.

You can take a horse to water but you can’t make em drink ahh,

So are you still intolerant to certain foods?

Did you restrict your diet to avoid negative reactions from food?

Have you tried eating grains etc since your condition improved?

I restricted my diet to not get any bad reactions,
And I’m very happy with my diet,
I would love to add rice in there but I don’t want to risk it,
Maybe I’ll give it a try in the future,
I forgot to add protein powder to my ingredients list,
And Iv just ordered some dexstrose carb powder so will give that a try,

I understand bro, a few days ago I was hungry and there was only oats to eat but I was too scared to eat it, so I missed a meal

I want to find a cure that works in way where ill be able eat everything without having any negative reactions

I’m craving pizza again and I’m still feeling a little bit unwell from the last pizza I ate lol joking

So ulcerative colitis is auto immune which means my body is attacking itself?

I’m trying to wrap my head around this

Did the auto immune cause the damage to the intestine or the damage in the intestine caused the auto immune?

if i cure the intestinal damage and improve my gut health by following a restricted diet and avoiding foods that cause my body to damage itself because of the auto immune response. Would I then be able to tolerate those foods that I seem to be intolerant to?

All along I had a feeling if I take AAS i will be able to tolerate more foods without having negative reactions, and I’m still thinking it should work for me

First things first you must cut out all foods that are processed and grains, and anything else you react bad too, with out this no treatment will work,
As your gut won’t be able to heal if it keeps getting inflamed,
Do this for 6 months minimum and then think about re introducing some foods, but of course not processed or shit, as that’s just asking for trouble,

If you haven’t already, start eating Kefir! Home made if possible the ones in normal supermarket is not real and has hardly any live cultures,

Also fermented vegetables, this is the type of foods that will help you build your gut microbiom back up,

Thanks bro, your right, I think I need to be strict with my diet

I’ve been finding it difficult to get my diet dialed in, especially with the restrictions, there’s alots think I might be intolerant to, it’s hard to be certain

I’ll try fermented veg, thankfully i can eat rice without negative reactions

Ok but rice is a grain, to be safe you should cut out all grains until your gut is healed, they are very hard on the gut, and can also cause leaky gut,

Are you taking vitamin D3 everyday also 2000iu ?

I’ve been taking 200 IU vitamin D everyday, do you think I need more?

You misunderstand my point. This is not evidence of a cure. It’s a customer testimonial that anabolic drugs helped him gain weight. Only a genius could figure that out, right?
I am aware of all this leaky gut, microbiome stuff. I don’t have a problem with a lot of the recommendations that come from these guys. I have a problem with calling symptom relief a “Cure”.Are most people’s biomes crap? Yep. Does an elimination diet help somebody suffering from these things? Yep. Will said person feel better with improved microbiome and symptom relief? Obviously. Did we cure anything? Nope.
I think that there are issues not being addressed by modern medicine, and some may in fact be caused by it. I think GMO foods and a lot of the super processed stuff people are eating is no good for them. I don’t think this cures anything, it just helps you heal and if you’re careful avoid future problems. When you start calling it a cure, you put it in the wrong category and stop learning.

If you really want to fix your ibd syndrome. You need to water fast. Not do all these weird combos. Fasting will fix your gut. Just do it for 24 hours , 2x a week, only drink plain water. That,s it.

If Dr lichten is wrong and his methods don’t work why did Danny Bossa interview him?

From what I’ve learned I think it’s the best treatment option available for arthritis and colitis in comparison to the alternative options
