Steroid Baby?

if i get my wife pregnant while on deca will that cause birth defects?

I would doubt it, but it’s best you play it safe and wait until you’re off cycle to conceive just in case.

It’s your potential child you’re talking about.

I really doubt it. Im no doctor but im pretty sure birth defects are a result of genetic deformities and are not related to what chemicals are in your body. (for males of course, women carry the child so anything thats in their body will end up in the baby as well)

Roids are just synthetic testosterone. By taking them you are only increasing the level of a natural substance thats in your body. I dont think that juice will make your little dudes retarded, theyll just swim a hell of a lot faster!

I may be completely wrong here, like i say im not a doctor. And it is YOUR child youre talking about. Why take the chance?

yeah i had a low sperm count and to raise it to get my wife pregnant the dr. gave me andriol gel tabs… i now have a very healthy smart 6 yr old girl.

It would be awesome if your little girl hit puberty and suddenly started deadlifting 415lb.

If I have a daughter she WILL deadlift 415, some little punk tries to get fresh and he will get his little winky ripped off!

i knew that exactly were this would go haha. it would be cool to have a baby with an abormal amount of strength just as long as it would mess them up mentally (retards are pretty strong) but we have one baby unplanned and i’ve been wanting another one resently and i’m on cycle.

Wow, there are some stupid posts here. Not all AAS are synthetic testosterone. In fact, most are not derived from testosterone, but instead from DHT and 19-nortestosterone. Taking any form of AAS will inhibit your natural testosterone production at the testis, which is also the place where sperm are produced. Since you testicles shrink while on AAS due to less activity of the cells there, sperm production is compromised.

With adequate AAS dosages men will actually become sterile, though only temporarily while using AAS. If you still do produce sperm, you will produce much less quantity and quality, as the sperm motility drops significantly. It will be more difficult to conceive while using AAS, though I cannot say for certain (and I don’t know if anyone can) if the low-quality sperm would result in any less quality offspring. I personally wouldn’t risk it.

Post AAS-use it takes many months for sperm quality and quantity to return to normal values, so you may want to give it 3-6 months before trying to conceive.

If your daughter could deadlift 415 I don’t think anyone would be hitting on her in the first place. =)

if I find a girl deadlifting 415, I’ll propose to her on the spot. Just think about how freakin strong my kids will be! WEW!

Would also be a big plus if she is tall too…that way my kids would also be tall

Would the 17 inch arms and 5 o’clock shadow be a plus?

But DHT and 19-nortestosterone are made from test, right? Either in vivo or in vitro?

My son was concieved during a fairly high level dosage cycle, he is 8 months now and he is fine

electric_eales,

Do you remember what the dosage was??

That point is that if you use a DHT or 19-not derived AAS, it will not act as testosterone does in the body. Example: deca and fina cause a massive drop in sexual performance in the absence of testosterone, even though they bind to the AR. The stupid posts statements were:

“Roids are just synthetic testosterone. By taking them you are only increasing the level of a natural substance thats in your body”

and

“i had a low sperm count and to raise it to get my wife pregnant the dr. gave me andriol gel tabs”

AAS are not all synthetic testosterone and do not necessarily act as testosterone in the body, and AAS of any kind will degrade your sperm production and quality.
