Hey guys, I have an issue of sorts:
I have two more injections that I need to do to finish the current cycle I am on, but only one clean needle. I am not sure how this happened, I thought I had rationed everything properly but I must have counted one short as far as the amount of needles.
My question is, can I sterilize the needle somehow for the second injection?
I was thinking of boiling water in a pan, and then holding the needle part of the syringe fully submerged in the pan for 5 minutes or so. Will this work?
I know I am already being an idiot because I am using the same needle to draw and inject, which from what I understand is an issue of sharpness/pain rather than sterility. Will 1 needle remain sharp enough after two draws?
Go to the pharmacy and buy a needle. Any needle they have. They have to sell you insulin syringes. But 2 if you need to do more than 1ml
But aren’t insulin needles very small? Will they be able to do glute site injections?
Dont use the glute if you have too much fat there. Use the delt or ventro glute. .5" 29g needles are the greatest thing ever for AAS injections. Obviously 1" is preferred because it is more versatile but .5" is fine for small volume injections.
Depending on your state, insulin darts may or may not be legal. N.J. is one such state where you can’t get them without a script.
Anyone that desires a endless source cheap, hit me up in another place and I will point* you in the right direction. Unless you are a tattoo artist with your own autoclave, don’t attempt to reuse.
What is your cycle like?
If you cant get a needle maybe it would be ok to skip the last shot or take them both at once.

They legally have to sell you one I believe, but they don’t always know that.
Ive bought from pharms before and half the time they don’t even know if they can sell them to me without a script.
The actual pharmacist, not an assistant, they have no idea what the law is.
You should be able to get a 25g 1-1.5 inch syringe from a walgreens or CVS. If they ask say its for long acting insulin, Lantus I think is intramuscular.
Ive run out before and had to go to 3 different places before I got the pins. Luckily there is a shit load of CVS’s and Walgreens.
also you could look up needle exchange for your area/state. if your area has this then you could walk in and get a sterile setup no questions asked.
some states you can not get them w/o prescription no matter what. If you get an insulin needle just put it in your tricep.

What?
Some do IM insulin needle injections there. For me, it seems too awkward so I never have.

I have always used the triceps w/ no problems w/ a 28-29g syringe(1cc max). You must back losd the syringe but once its set up it works quite well.

Yea yea I know the triceps is a viable option. I just commented because it’s a strange place to recommend before/instead of so many other, more conventional, sites.
