My favourite pan at the moment is a neoflam pan. Google it.
Its a non-stick pan that doesnt contaminate the food with any chemicals like the other non-stick pans do. Its also lightweight! Its apparently pretty new on the market… made ion the secret enclaves of NASA!

I dont really know much about it, except for what the sales lady told me. Apparently most non-stick pans emit chemicals into your food, and apparently this neoflam doesnt. Ive been happy with the pan, although I mainly use my grill and slow cooker for cooking.

Thanks for the info Bird. I’ll defiantly pick up a neoflam pan to try out. I do most of my daily cooking in a pan and it happens to be teflon (due to the speedy clean up).
I once went to a presentation on this cookware in order to win a free vacation. They were selling this surgical steel stuff that was supposed to be the best thing you can get. Their main selling point was that most pans you buy from the store have all kinds of chemicals and things in the coatings that leech into your food, and also that many of the other metals have pores in them that bacteria or other things seep into.
Whether or not they were pitching me a load of crap I do not know. Didn’t buy it though since it was like a thousand dollars for the whole set.

Ive had mine for about 3 months now. I dont really use the pan that much. Ive used it to make chicken stir fry, scramble eggs and I use it to brown my meat and onions before they go into the slow cooker.
So far I havent had any scratching or flaking, although Ive been careful with it. I followed instructions and coated it with coconut oil on low heat before using the pan.
I find teflon can vary in quality. But anyways, Ive been very happy with this pan.

Thanks for the good info. I’m just wondering if there’s anyway to reaaly know or verify if what they claim about their pans not leaching any chemicals into food is true.
I remember Dr. Mercola making smae claims about cookware he sells but it got mixed reviews, mainly attributed to quality though like handles breaking etc., not sure about the part of not leaching chemicals into the food.

Yer Im not sure if there has been any published studies on the pan.
Regarding the quality of the pan though; to me it appears to be very high quality. Its also lighter than most other pans.
