Steak Made from Human Excrement: Is It Safe?

I mean, I suppose I get the point of it, to reuse human waste; but it seems like growing it from scratch would probably still be a cheap source of protein that doesn’t come with “Eeeeww” factor (as much).
We could reuse human waste as fertilizer to grow grass for cows to eat to slaughter to pan sear to a rare perfection and wolf it down with some vegetables.

And milk.

Since the majority of crap is bacterial in nature why not just grow bacteria that doesn’t come from shit?

Well, just growing the bacteria wouldnt work on its own. They would still need something to feed on, and to give them that, you would have to take food and artificially digest it, making shit in the process, which takes us back to square one.

Eating shit is gross. And retarded.

Whoever thought of this is fucking useless.

And wasted money going to college.

So can vegans eat poop steak or what?
Well, speaking as a vegan, we can look at this a few ways. Technically, it’s a byproduct of a living creature, ruling it out for consumption by vegans.
So is semen but some vegans still swallow. They use the line that it comes down to consent. Furthering the same logic, all plant life is the by-product of animal shit.

hmmm…what’s “2 Girls 1 Cup”? Sounds like fun. Brb!

In 5 years we’ll have another Professor X type character not telling people to eat burgers, but instead to eat…shit
Squats and… squirts?

Well, speaking as a vegan, we can look at this a few ways. Technically, it’s a byproduct of a living creature, ruling it out for consumption by vegans. It’s also likely, there’s animal byproducts contained within or used during the manufacturing process of the shit sandwich. So that also would rule it out. "
Does this mean you can’t eat plants grown with natural fertilizers?

Shit steak? Big deal…Ponderosa has been making them for years.

why would they think of this in the first place?!?

^^ Honestly…I think many people in Japan are trying to look innovative and to create the next “big thing”.

Here’s another stupid thing some guy in Japan thought up…it’s a armless and legless robot that connects to your phone and its lips and eyes will move when the person talks…it’s a stupid, scary ridiculous good-for-nothing thing but it’s supposed to show that you’re thinking about the future!

Here’s a better video of that stupid fucking thing:

lol!

i’m going to make this my FB status:

“Pass it on: Meat made from poop is safe, but you should cook it before you eat it.”

i can’t stop lolling about how funny this is out of context.

I really hope there is no one out there that takes things to that far of an extreme…

Well, if you’re gonna’ do something, you might as well do it right.

I read a (fiction) book that had something similar in it. People can/will naturally run out of food and water. Recycling our waste is the only way that deep space exploration could be feasible.

And that’s why I’m not an astronaut.

Exactly what I thought…how do you go about making sure a farmer doesn’t use cow shit for fertilizer?
