Staying On After First Cycle

It is really good to hear both sides I didn’t expect to get this much advice tbh. I guess I cant really decide untill I actually know how I feel during pct and how I recover. [/quote]

Helped me out a fair bit. Close friend of mine is 20 and he dived right in blasting and cruising which seemed appealing at first. I’m probably going to do the same as what some guys have reccommended, do a couple cycles/PCT and decide from there.

My PCTs are a breeze, except that one time I used Deca…

I wouldn’t blast and cruise unless you were 100% sure you want to compete. For recreational users, I think 2 cycles a year with a decent PCT can be maintained and recovered from for a number of years.

No one’s ever actually proven that cycling “chips away” at your HPTA…

I am living proof that it can. I ran two cycles and was completely shut down. Now mind you I was very young and that probably had to do with it but had I not been on I seriously doubt I would have had the problems.

haven’t checked it in a while, but it was last time. I’ve been taking steroids for 4 years.

Yeah brother, you got the worst case scenario, unfortunately.

I’d never say that you’d DEFINITELY recover, but most people will. It’s like any drug really. You can take it, have a good time and party like it’s 1999, or you might be the unlucky .00001% whose heart explodes out of your chest, showering ravers in blood and aorta.

I definitely don’t agree that steroids are a lifelong commitment if you don’t want them to be. If you check out Dat’s forum, there’s dudes on there who have been cycling and PCTing for decades without issue.

Remember your test’ll naturally decline as you age anyway, so just because it’s declining, you don’t know for sure it’s due to steroids (although obviously if there’s a significant dip in a small space of time then yeah, somethings up).
