will there be a noticeable difference between 30g and 28g? thinking ill save the 30g for hcg and the larger ga for test
Yeah. Not a crazy difference but a difference. I use 30g sometimes but usually 28g. Here’s what I use
so drawing technique has gotten slightly better, but I always have a persistant tiny bubble on the plunger, is this going to be an issue? It seems like it would just get stuck in the needle
edit: also how deep am i supposed to go for subq? Is .5" too deep? I’ve got enough gut where i dont think its an issue but want to know for the future as i lean out
The bubble doesn’t matter at all.
For sub-q in the navel area .5 inch is fine but may be IM in somewhere like the delt.
how long did it take you to see psychological changes? i know its only been a week, but wondering when ill stop feeling so lethargic and moody/apathetic to everything
This answer is different for everyone, there are some who feel improvements almost immediately, others take longer and some for one reason or another never notice benefits of TRT for reasons known and reasons unknown.
The latter cases are not as common, most benefit to varying degrees, some thrive and feel as though they are 21 again, others feel some benefit which probably has to do with androgen receptor sensitivity, your CAG receptor repeat lengths will determine everything, even how long it takes to feel the full benefits of TRT.
It will take between 6-12 months to see the significant benefits of TRT if your genes are good, some notice benefits immediately because these individuals have shorter length AR gene CAG repeat numbers which is associated with the recovery of sexual function after TRT is initiated.
I will say your FT levels were very low pre-TRT and it will take you longer to feel good because it will be awhile before your FT levels are sufficiently elevated and hit that range where you body gears up and starts using it.
Your body has to create a hormone balance within the body before you notice anything.
ok, so even though ill reach my target serum T levels in 2 weeks, it will still take a while after for the other systems to balance out? how long before I see where my e2 gets to? doc was a bit concerned cause i had pretty high E2 with my very low T, they think I may aromatize a lot
You will reach your target serum levels in 6 weeks after starting TRT, but may take longer for your body to actually to use those hormones. If you are dealing with estrogen dominance pre-TRT and aren’t injecting very frequently or aren’t on an AI, I expect things to go badly.
im on 3x a week subq taking dim daily and have anastrozole .125mg on hand
It takes me 8 weeks to not feel bad. So for 8 weeks I feel worse, then better, then best. If you change shit you restart that timer.
if i had gyno as a teen that went away, do i need to be more vigilant about it?
@valiantone
I would keep tamoxifen (aka Nolvadex) on hand for piece of mind. If it’s not something you know how to get Google Aipct and click the first link.
went to urologist to see if i had a varicocele, he couldnt find one. and he spent 80% of the time criticizing my decision to do TRT, saying he would recommend clomid therapy… also heard gems such as my Testosterone is “not that low” and my LH is “not that high”
Idiot. Tell him to try clomid and see how he feels on that crap
the most surprising is hes recommending clomid when im primary. like wtf dude i just want to know whats wrong with my balls
If I were a doctor and thought TRT cause prostate cancer, heart attacks and strokes, I would criticize you for going on TRT as well. At this point he probably wanted nothing to do with you, if fact it’s not uncommon for doctors to refuse treating you if you remain on TRT.
Doctors I notice are always wanting to prescribe drugs, they love drugs and hate hormonal therapies even though hormones come with less side effects and are safer than any drug on the market.
So then the drug sale pitch, he wanted clomid therapy. You go in with low testosterone and the doctor says it’s low, but not that low, then he wants you on an antidepressant and cialis all while your testosterone is low, but not that low.
Clearly there are hidden agendas.
oh yeah heard “you know anxiety and depression can lower your testosterone” really? being sad makes my balls shrink? wtf
The door swings both ways, low testosterone can cause anxiety and depression.
on a non rant note. since im taking Test M W F, would it be better to take the HCG T TH SAT instead of on the same day as the test to spread things out a bit?
If you were to inject HCG on days you’re not injecting T, that might fill in the gap between T injections and be close to getting the effect of more frequent injections because you’ll be injecting 6 days a week.
The HCG will net you some extra T in between T injections.
