Starting Today. Any Advice?

Got my meds today!

Doctor prescribed 160mg test-c split into 2x week or E3D. Anastrozole 0.25mg weekly or as needed. I was planning to go without until my blood recheck in 3 months.

He gave me 25G needles for IM. I was planning to inject into quad to start, just for easy access.

I could you any advice for first timers. I will update how it went later tonight or tomorrow.

My starting numbers are over here:

For me the biggest thing to get over was stabbing myself I had my wife do it at first till I grew some balls

Life is easier at 29 gauge, painless as well.

Just had my wife do my first injection. It was painless on side of quad. But I just found out my pharmacy sent me 3ml syringes. What a joke lol. I’ll have to buy some 1ml 1” ones and request better ones from my doc for next month.

I use these and it’s painless as in if I’m not looking I can’t tell if it’s in or not.

Thanks! Is 1/2” long enough? I’m about 28%bf and want to rotate injection sites, maybe try glutes.

Try 1 inch. You can always go halfway when doing delts

I was just looking for that, but can only find 1-1/4". do you know of any other internet suppliers?

Try buying the needle and syringes separately. Like buy 1CC insulin syringes and buy 27g 1 inch needle.

Good tip, I’ll keep an eye out. I still can’t find 27G 1” needles though.

Do you know if all brands are cross compatible?

Yeah they should be

Pinned myself for the first time today with a 25G in the quad. It went pretty smooth and painless, although the needle wobbled a little when I was injecting. I’ll need some practice. Aspirated the needle before injecting. Overall a good experience. I found its best just stick the needle in before even thinking about it. Last time I got extreme anxiety and then had the wife do it.

So far I haven’t noticed much positive difference on TRT, although this is only day 3!

I did feel a little nauseous and had a low grade headache the last to days. I’ve had that before pre trt so I’m not sure that’s what caused it.

Three days you say, this is like the first couple of seconds of a movie, you need to spend a greater amount of time to see where things are going. TRT can work more slowly for some men, I feel the effects of the injections within minutes at only 6mg cypionate daily.

Thursday and Friday I injected 6mg, stopped yesterday for a couple of days and still feel good. My muscles are even harder, erections better, energy is improved, sense of smell and appetite are is good. I have notice I’m more social with stranges and is easy to meet new people.

I’m at one end of the spectrum of hyper T responders and is very uncommon.

Low testosterone, more to the point low estrogen can cause headaches and low testosterone can cause nausea because metabolic rates are low, so energy is low.

I use westerns medical. Good selection and fast shipping.

Don’t go down the rabbit hole of making your whole life about TRT, lol.

25 gauge is fine, but I would draw with a different needle. I use 3CC syringes, no problem.

You don’t have to aspirate, waste of time.

Relax and enjoy. You won’t see results for three weeks, more at six, then physiological benefits for the next twelve.

It literally takes less than a second to aspirate, so probably worth it, right? It is rare, but there are stories of people that hit a blood vessel and had some pretty bad symptoms.

I’m actually feeling really good today, in fact the most energy I’ve had in a long time. Maybe placebo, but I hope it keeps getting better.

He didn’t say you aren’t allowed to aspirate just that it’s pointless.

I use the 29 guage version of these. I’m quite a bit heavier than the OP and I can find several spots on my outer quad to inject. I also do delts.
Might depend a bit on how ones body stores fat so your milage will vary.

I’m not taking an AI, as I stated in my first post.

In general my advice would be to just relax and go live your life. Don’t think too much. Though keeping a journal for a bit to track how you feel might be helpful in getting your dose dialed in.
