Starting Over at 55

Hey fellow trainers I would like some of ya’lls (yes I am from the South) advice on supplementation. I have a lot of experience (won the overall state Bodybuilding championship in 1987, did pretty good at the Jr Nationals in Chicago in 1988 and was picked to win the overall 1990 Eastern SeaBoard by MuscleMag after the pre-judging and this was my last show).

I took over a family business in 1991 and just recently retired and am back training. I know a lot has changed in the supplementation arena since then and I would like an update if you don’t mind helping me out. Here is what I figure a basic regime would be but I can not remember how long to cycle and how long to be off and when to add certain things (it has been over 20 years).

  1. A good form of testosterone: I know that some do not believe in topical but my experience is that a good compounded cream does well and it is used daily for a more consistent level.

  2. A form of anti-aromatization product to cut down the estrogen conversion therefore getting more out of the T and less problem with BTs.

  3. A good HCG product, but I do not remember when to start, how long or what dose (except to use EOD).

  4. And rather than HGH I do use a product to release my natural HGH and I will be more than happy to tell anyone of a couple of products I am already using for this and they work.

I am not trying to compete again but I love training and I am getting a good bit of my old look back only much older look. Anyway, I will be glad to share in anyway I can with what we use to do but I need to be updated.

TIA!

I don’t see a question there, so I will just retort to your Statement #1: you will not be able to absorb anywhere near enough what you need for a cycle from topical testosterone. You will be bathing in the shit.
