Starting Anastrozole - How Much?

Going to try liquid anastrozole from chem research lab - I started T cyp 50mg twice weekly . And added a bunch of herbal AI supplements . Blood work showed 570 Free T and 63 Estrodiol . I am going to add liquid anastrozole ( 1mg per ml ) to combat the aromatase effect ( it is causing ED ) QUESTION : how much should I start with and how often .

Read the Injection Protocol Sticky. KSman breaks it down in there multiple times. The standard is .25mg eod.

I would pick a starting dose after reading up in the stickys. Then test to see how you are responding. Not everyone’s e goes down like a freight train from low dose ai’s. I’ve been taking .5 mg’s anastrozole daily now for more than three months and while I feel much better, my labs tell me I’m not there yet.

Some people (like me) are AI over-responders. A tiny amount kills E2. At the dose listed in the stickies, my E2 dropped to <12 very quickly. It takes a long, long time to build back up and I felt shitty in that time.

My suggestion is to start at a VERY small AI dose - less than the stickies suggest - and get labs done after 3-4 weeks to measure progress.

Start out at 1 drop per day, every day. Check labs at 3 weeks and review your symptoms.

It might even be helpful to create a daily log in Excel to document your symptoms… morning oak, libido, feeling of well-being, joint aches, ambition, drive, etc…

Over responders can typically do well on 2 drops EOD. You could start there and ramp up to 4 the next week and see if you get to 8 drops EOD while feeling OK.

When normal guys start at 1mg/week in EOD doses, they will feel a strong positive results in 7-10 days. If you do the above, things will probably take longer. If you feel good results on the lower dose, assume that you are an over-responder.

Now, when you say ‘2 drops’, what dose is implied?

I agree. How many drops is .5ml; and is this a standard eye dropper or something.?

Based on what I read - drop size is created by liquid viscosity not by dropper type - good rule of thumb is average 20 drops per ml
