Some off you guys are hilarious. Thanks for the laugh. Some good advice given as well. Baby steps, donāt swing for the fences, especially when you are when you are in one of those awkward lulls.
As to the OP her text means the next move, which is probably not forthcoming, is hers. Donāt see much you can do to redeem this one.
Whenever you hit a lull in the conversation or action like that, just remember most people like to talk about themselves. That applies to biz networking as well as dating, heck, almost any social encounter.
On a side note:
Generally speaking most women love to dance. I learned something a few years ago. A bunch of us were at a night club for what was actually supposed to be a professional networking gig (the group did not pan out). The girl who was promoting the whole thing got absolutely wasted and started sharing some really dark things from her past. We tried to distract her by getting her to the dance floor. She was so drunk she could barely walk, but once on the floor she looked like MC Hammer. It is controlled by a different part of the brain.
