started a cycle of test enanthate, but it gives me a lump after each inject. using proper technique as far as cleanliness goes. spoke with the lab and they suggested cutting with another oil… any recomendations as what to cut with??? they recommended Deca or equipoise.

the lab is pharamceutical, cant find much about them but what i have found is all good. know several people using it and not having this issue.
im using 1 inch 23ga pins going in atleast 7/8 inch… maybe should try 25ga 1 1/2? [/quote]
Depending on how lean you are, 1" should be fine for glutes. Unless you’re morbidly obese, 1" is fine for quads and delts.
Describe the lump, please. How long does it take to form? Does the skin turn red? Is it painful? Is it warm to the touch? How long does it take to dissipate?
@hockeysledder
im about 12-15 rough guess, not huge but not where i need to be, slacked on diet and cardio for about aa year after my kid was born, short and sweet workouts were all time i had.
typically the lump is 1-2 inches in diameter and .25-.5 inches tall, usually somewhat stiff with no discoloration, disipates in 3-5 days, only hurts if oushed on.(for the right leg)
the left leg is the one i have issues with for some reason, the 2 shots its got have been negative… the 1st one had the lump for 7-8 days which was my fault as i didnt go in at an exact 90 angle and was slowly pulling out as i pressed the plunger down, rookie mistakes. but this second one went in fine and took well.
next morning the area was flushed and hard, my roomate said it had a little warmth too it, but not much. today, which is 2days post injection, area is lighter red in color, lump is about half the diameter as yesterday, now about an inch, and isnt very wam… i think it may just be irritation at this point. ever had anything like this???
@VTBalla34
im injecting into the outter quad, midway up to upper midway up
"ive got some questions i need to have answered so please comment with personal experiences. Ive started my 1st cycle of test enanthate… post injection im getting lumps that are about 2 inches in diameter and maybe .25/.5 inches high.
this is only my third week… i started with .5cc then went .75 cc now on 3rd week i started 1cc per (twice a week all along). im using 23ga 1inch pins, everything was ordered sterile, wipe bottle pre withdrawl of test and switch needles pre injection and clean in circular motion as well.
my question is why am i getting these"lumps"??? they are usually color less and not very painful unless pressed. today, after 1st 1cc in left leg, it is about a 1inch diamenter .25 inch high lump, slightly itchy and barely flushed red… doesnt hurt, no temperature, feeling great… any ideas? my roomate seems to think it may be an infection"
my previous post
They aren’t infections. Infections wouldn’t clear up on their own, typically, and generally wouldn’t sprout that quickly.
They are probably just local irritation. Could be lots of things:
a) The gear crashed, in which case you would see particulate if you hold it up to the light and gently shake the vial.
b) There is something in the gear that is an irritant - higher BA content than you can tolerate, allergy to the oil, other contaminants like dust or bacteria (living or dead).
c) The concentration of TE is too high. This happens much more often with prop than enanthate, though.
d) Your body does not like the enanthate ester. Extremely unlikely, but it happened to me.
If you decide to stick it out with this batch of gear, the best thing to do for your lumps is to take advil and use a heating pad. I would also suggest trying a different site, like dorsogluteal or ventrogluteal, or even the delts. Irritation in the delts is usually much more tolerable since they aren’t postural muscles.
thanks for the insite, i was thinking it might be the BA content off of what ive read… spoke with the lab and they asked if i was allergic to grapeseed or sawflower oils… out of curiosity who in the hell would know that!!!
im starting a different vial on next inj date, same lab, different batch, little lighter in color. thinking may play a role.
on the inj into the delt… hit the lateral head in the middle of it? and how deep?
1" is more than enough for delts. I used 1/2" slin pins for quads and delts because I hate needles. Google for IM injection sites, the delt is pretty easy to find. All of this is easier if you can get someone to stick you, though.
Quick and dirty allergy test: take a drop of the product and rub it on your lip. Wait 30 seconds. If you feel any tingling, that’s a reaction. If you don’t feel any tingling, it doesn’t necessarily mean that the oil is ok, just that it’s well enough tolerated that your lips wont react.
The surefire sign that you are dealing with some kind of allergy issues are angioedemas - either your lips will swell up, or you’ll get swollen nodules on your hands or feet. If you start to see that, stop the injections immediately and find a different carrier oil with a different ester. In my case, it took about 3 weeks for the angioedemas to start, and it turned out to be a reaction to either the enanthate ester itself or a contaminant that was in the enanthate powder.
