You’re new here so I’ll give you a pass…this time

It’s also underwear, not underware.

HEY NARDS did you like the back to the future reference in the last TC article?? That excited me and I figured I would randomly find you somewhere on these boards to bring it up, HahA.

MY ADDITION: Guy at my gym who poses all the time. I can always seem him flexing out the corner of my eye and it makes me SO irritated. You may think WELL maybe he is prepping for a show. NO NO he is not! I know him, he is in my Deaf culture class and he thinks he is ripped and awesome and his view of himself is so distorted and it makes me mental. HE iS JUST NORMAL, he’s a regular joe schmoe POSING POSING POSINNNNG ALWAYS!!

YOU HEAR ME YOU DOUCHE BAG? YOU’RE NO BETTER THAN ANYONE ELSE. GET OVER YOURSELF.

See, I can’t say these things because we’re classmates. We’re “friends”. I have to smile all the time and listen to him talk about his biceps.

He is also the same person who wore a shut up and squat t-shirt when he was just good mornginging with 115lbs.
I just…i just…UHG !!!

^^ Thanks for bringing that up as I hadn’t read the last TC article.

Did you know my parents got married on November 12th, 1955?

I thought that the whole bosu ball with weights thing was just a myth. Until this morning, not 30 minutes ago, I saw someone someone doing overhead tricep extensions on one. I literally stared in unbelief.

This afternoon I saw some guy to dB bench press on a bosu ball.

This morning I saw a guy doing seated leg curls nearly flying out of the machine on each rep. This must have been the explosive power portion of the workout because he was supersetting with trying to move 3 plates on each side of the pec deck.

I’m not picking on you specifically, but it boggles my mind when guys feel the need to shamelessly flatter women [outside of the SAMA forum] anytime they post. I’m not a chick, but holy hell I would get sick of that shit fast.

It’s even worse when it happens in the squat rack. <<<See, now this post is relevant.
It boggles my mind when guys feel the need to have their avatars as a picture of themselves in Underware posing like an Abercrombie model at a Justin Bieber concert.
This is a bodybuilding website. The guy is big. Abercrombie models don’t pose like that. Haters gonna hate. Literally everything is wrong about your post.
NEVER MIND, EDITED TO KEEP THE PEACE. CARRY ON
Way too many fucking lulz to be had here. Why oh why do people behave so much more boldly and brashly on the interwebz than the real world?

On topic, today I remembered why packed gyms piss me off, and not just because of so much of the equipment being used, but rather HOW it’s being used.

For the last time, the GHR is NOT an ab machine. Nowhere in the title “Glute-Ham Raise” is there the word “ab” or “crunch” or “sit-up”.

No, Mr. skinny kid “training” his skinny friend, you do not know how to powerclean worth half a shit, please stop passing on your horrendous version of it.

I could go on forever…

I am blessed to have found a powerlifting gym with dumbells up to 200’s some of the strongest dudes and dudettes this side of Valhalla and a dungeon atmosphere which is worth it’s weight in callouses, ammonia and chalk.

However, recently there has been a massive influx of VERY sub 200 lb gentlemen who insist on utilizing every gimmicky piece of tomfoolery and just invented modern advanced training MMA functional etc. equipment at any and every possible opportunity. I’m not saying I have any problem with less experienced lifters being in a gym with dumbells heavier than they are it’s just a trend I have noticed which leads me to believe within 10 years people will just stop training with weights for powerlifting and be using banded chains with fat grips on blast straps for all exercises. Probably while wearing helmets.

With that background in place. Yesterday I saw a mighty 160 ish underarmor warrior specimen perform reverse band fat grip barbell curls. With 140. For a 3X3. And then I wept for the fate of man.

Pass declined. Now what?

Guy came in yesterday, found an open space and started practising his kung-fu choreography. Not even some awesome flips or anything like that, he just went about memorizing this rigid choreography solo. Needless to say, he also didn’t touch a single piece of equipment… He’s spending $200/year to show off his lame ass Kung-fu moves to us.

I’m starting to miss the old $400/year price…

My school gym lacks 45 lb plates. I had to steal some from the bench next to me and from the squat rack across the room for leg press. Luckily, they weren’t being used. Still, for a place that has a platform and bumper plates, I don’t understand why we can’t drop the weights on the platform, use chalk, and have to deal with very little 45 lb plates.

And even though it’s an engineering school, there are some big and strong people in there that have the same complaints, but for $90 per semester, I guess I should deal with this.

You look cute :stuck_out_tongue:

Flattery of most kinds gets on my nerves.

The only achievements worth being flattered about are those that have been worked hard for. Not that you have won the genetics lottery and happen to conform to the ideal that society tells us we should be attracted to.

… it should only be done in person.

In my Gym the trainer is always asking clueless trainees for advice. He ends up with a warped view and comes across as very clueless himself.

I’d rather be noticed for my strength… After all that’s why I’m (most of us are) here.
to be honest, anyone that short would be cute…i actually did it last night to a kid, the LOLs where had by the whole gym…

Where can I get said “Pass” from JaseHxC? Are you the only person who distributes “Passes”?

PimpBot5000 and HAXlol are authorized to issue them on my behalf. You can have as I seem to recall you brushing off the various insults I’ve lobbed at you in the past, specifically the time I called you the second best Waylander on this site out of two Waylanders.

Woo. What are the privileges of said Pass? Can I patronise new members too now?

2nd place still gets a medal.

Well of course, antagonize new members at all times. Also, be sure to insert strong racial prejudice overtones into all your comments. When a forum member questions you on it, play it off as simple ribbing and jokingly state that you are not a racist wink wink Oh and start eating a plant based diet, it’s crucial.

This is “The Way of the Jase”, go unto the world and prosper my follower…

Guys can you critique my bench

Im thinking of moving up to 2 plates now that I mastered 205, but Im just checking with you guys, as a formality.
