So I got my first round of Spike shooters: excellent! I was a little shocked by the pink color though I guess for some reason i thought it would be yellow. The shooters are definitely comparable to the pills and probably the strongest energy drink in a little can out there.
Anyway…so I had a fancy birthday party to go to Saturday night and the pre-party was at my house. Now let me just say I rarely drink and i am serious about my physique - but when I do choose to drink it’s Herradura Anejo Tequila and Grapefruit Soda (picked that up in Mexico) or a gin and tonic - that’s it! But as I was holding my anejo’ in one hand opening my frig for the fresca and a can of Spike literaly fell at my feet - lightbulb!
So I did it, 2 ounces of Herradura Anejo to one Spike shooter over ice in a highball glass…and it was really really good!! After expieriencing the effects of this drink I have dubbed this concoction “Donkey Punch” I was going to go with “Tijuana Speedball” but “Donkey Punch” says it all. Not likely to be making it again anytime soon its a little expensive…
