Looking for some opinions on the two flavors for Spike. I’ve never had it before and looking to try it out. Which flavor do you prefer (original or orange gold)? Also, how would you describe each flavor?

To me, I always thought original was more raspberry than strawberry. Orange Gold is pretty similar to Minute Maid orange soda, which is significantly different from Sunkist orange soda and orange Crush. (Sorry for the mini-rant, but I heart orange soda. Or, I used to. Before I started eating/drinking all healthy and stuff. Riiight.)
If they ever figure out a cola-flavored Spike, y’all are gonna miss out because I’ll be ordering it by the truckload.

I would go with orange, I find it at 7-11, but you have got to hunt for it.

Hey guys, just wanted to throw this out there, but if you’re lucky enough to have a Casey’s General store (gas station) in your area then the majority of them carry Spikes. You can get the 16oz cans in either orange gold or fruit punch and the Spike shooters in Orange Gold. The one near me also carries Brain Candy shooters. Just an option if you want to try a flavor before ordering a bunch or need a quick fix.

Uhhhh how I miss quila lime. I never got tired of that flavor unlike the current flavors. I was hoping they would bring it back with the release of the lime intensified flavoring.

Brain Candy in stores? So cool. I was just visiting my grandparents in South Dakota, and had I know, I would have hit up a Casey’s.
I’ve found Orange Gold Spike Double Shots at a local Sunoco here.
