If I take an off day, adjust calories in any way?

Nope.

Just to give you a sense of where we’re going. This is lower caloric intake than you’ve had in awhile! I fully expect you to drop a little the first week. From there we will add 50g carbs each week until we find your baseline.
How do you determine what baseline is?
When he stops losing weight and holds a weight for a few straight weeks.

I’d also like to add that I start a new job in July. I will only have weekends free at that point, so let’s make sure “check-in” day w/ pics and weigh in is a saturday or sunday morning thing.

Lotta potential. I am rooting for you Spidey!!

I’m awake, I’m awake!..

It’s the PM thing- I tried for a couple of days with no luck and then life got away.

I’m still down. Is there another way to get ahold of you? Email?

No problem. Pics every week? Every other week?

Thanks man. Hopefully I make at least half the progress Jake’s made in the last year or so!

These threads are awesome, weren’t you going to work with nez1nez as well?
She never got in touch with me. Oh well.
I think its because PMs haven’t been working in a while to be honest.
Ah, I see. hmmmm…should I just take a chance and make a thread for her anyway then? Let’s see if she jumps into this thread =)

Nez1Nez, the bat signal is on!
I’m here!
The PMs wouldn’t work and I tried for a couple of days. I’m not on here errrryday but may husband saw this post so I knew I needed to apply.
Is there any other way to get ahold of you?

Ideally every week. Saturday or sunday morning.

Got you your own thread going.

Ok so did the first workout. Baby weights were used

Pec Dec Flies:
160x3x12 + 120x9 drop

DB Incline: 1.5 reps. Tried to ramp, but ended up underestimating these and just used same weight for each set lol
40’sx15,12,8

Decline Bench: Smith machines were taken. Pump was insane, but should have rested more after first set, so failed a bit early
95x30
115x15
135x10

Cable Laterals: Did NOT feel these how I would have liked, and have no lateral machine here. Will likely go to DB’s
20x4x10+20 partials

Rear Delt Machine: Weight stack is numbered weird, just like 2, 4, 6, so weight was just what felt right for first set and lowered accordingly.
30/25/20 drop set
10/8/6 drop set

Tri Tri Set lol: Best tricep pump I’ve ever had. Srs.
60x3x15 for each 3 variations of cable pushdowns

Overall workout was good. Solid pump, though laterals on cables just wasn’t doing it for me. Felt good, just hungry because yesterday only did the 250g of carbs lol. Energy was fine though. Weighed in at 191.2. Workout was a bit longer, but more because I did laterals one arm at a time and had a lifting partner today. Took about 75 mins. Need to rest a BIT more on chest work though, or else triceps take over.

Do you know what show you’ll be doing? I’ve thought about doing one but I have no idea what to look for, or where to look

My plan is the Tricky Jackson Classic in Lexington, KY. I literally just typed in Bodybuilding/Physique Kentucky and looked what looked decent.

Diet today, just to give an example how I’ll be eating this week.

Meal 1: 3 jumbo eggs, 1 cup cottage cheese, Coffee with tbsp of VCO

Meal 2: Drank 90g of Carbs worth of Gatorade during my WO, then 50g whey PWO

Meal 3: 60g Carbs worth of Grits, 2 Chicken Breasts with ~25g Protein a piece (got some fat from milk making the grits)

Meal 4: 50g whey and remaining ~100g of carbs and 35g Fat from Chocolate Chip Waffles + Syrup lulz

Meal 5: 50g Whey

I usually was eating about 200g Protein, so I just added another shake to hit 250g everyday. School is hectic right now, so next 2 weeks will definitely be a college edition of IIFYM (basically meaning lots of shakes and kids foods like cereal, waffles, ice cream). Once I’m home for the summer, I’ll likely replace protein from one of the meals with real food as opposed to whey and such.

Will you be working at a booth at Tricky Jackson Classic in Lexington, KY or are you really competing?

Go get em.

Don’t cuss if you lose a spot, as I’ve heard some do and be stripped of place & trophy.

Did the back workout today. Workout was really good. Had to wait on the rack for Rack Deads, so ended up doing all of back before doing my sets of 6,4, and 2 (ended up going for 3) with 305, 325, 345 respectively. All extremely easy, btw. Also, UH pulldown wasn’t allowing me much of a stretch due to the attachment I had to use, so switched to V-Grip pulldowns. Biceps were extremely pumped.

Weight was 192.8, slightly heavier then yesterday, but not surprising seeing as I had to weigh myself later in the day.

Diet was also on point today, carbs coming from bread and sweet tea mostly (homemade so I knew the macros for sure)
