8 to 1 Sox!!! If they pull this off, we are looking at the greatest comeback in the history of sports. Braking the curse like this!

Yep, couldn’t have happen in a better way for Boston fans!
Congrats!!!
Don’t tear up too many buildings/cars/people/pets etc. etc.

Ahhh…finally. Now I can get some sleep.
I’m not a big sports fan but I did watch this series. I’m happy for the Sox. It was nice to those New Yorkers shut-up for once. I wonder what Steinbrenner is going to do now. Maybe they can spend a couple hundered million on another few players and buy the World Series next year…lol
New Yorkers, how do you spell CHOKE?

In that case, avoid Umass Amherst. Those riots were funny. Never seen so many SWAT police.
That bad huh? Do you think it would be even worse if they win the W’ Series? Or was this one the BIGGER one 'cuz it was the Evil Empire?

bet $5 on the sox beating the yanks… so i’ll be $5 richer tommorow… astros/berkman all the way.
I hope the sox lose the series, just because their fans are such whiney little bitches. Every time they’re losing a playoff game the cameras have shots of them crying, and praying and all that bullshit. ITS JUST A BASEBALL GAME! Get some perspective on what’s important. Christ! Not to mention the people crying in the stands act like they’ve been suffering since 1918, most of them are only in their 20’s! Its not like you’re 100, and you’ve been waiting your whole life for your team to come through for you. In conclusion, I will be rooting for either the Astros or Cardinals in the series. And if I see any of their fans crying and/or praying in the stands I’m gonna turn off my TV and vomit. It would serve me right for watching baseball in the first place.
I think this series just goes to show once again that you can have a roster of all-stars and not pull off the championship of your respective sport.
Lets look at the champions of the last year or so.
Patriots
Pistons
Tampa Bay Lightning
Argentina (Basketball Olympic Gold)
These teams had chemistry, not a whole bunch of all stars swimming in their own payroll, and they were well coached.
Teams like the Lakers, Red Wings, Yankees, and the USA olympic team had all of the stud horses but couldn’t hang in comparison to well coached, properly motivated teams. Sure they got further than most teams because of their talent. But when there are varrying agendas other than the championship they will falter and eventually fail.

Don’t know but I will find out. Over 70 kids arrested so far. One kid in my dorm got hit in the eye when a tear gas can’s pin. Other than that, I’m happy to say, I haven’t heard of any serious injuries. Bruises from rubber bullets don’t count.
By the way, here’s a cool trick I heard about. Undercover cops would go up to kids causing trouble and raise their hand (like trying to get a high five). When a kid high-fived the cop, the cop would grab his armm, twist it behind him, and cuff him there on the spot. Pretty nifty.
