I think Friday between 5-8 pm would be a good time for you to shoot another chin-up video.

You mean so you can see the deliciousness in the background?

I am stealing this.
Snap, neither of us could be trainers. Our patience with lazy asses could snap (ha!) at any moment and someone could get either (1) get a dope slap or (2) hear the unvarnished truth and then complain to management that their feelings were hurt.
We are OK with doing the hard thing, but that makes us the rare exception and unsuitable for associating with Lemmings.
Competitive bodybuilding friend of mine tried being a PT. Lasted 3 months. He got tired of training people who didn’t want to be there. Now he trains high-school athletes out of his garage.

Absolutely not.
It is so the awesomeness of your chins will stand out so much more, when juxtaposed against the uselessness of the lemmings milling about, preening.
I came by for vid of chin-ups and there they are, first post of last page - and oh so beautiful!
Awesome work snap! And I’m only a little bitter about the fact that you’re doing almost as many as I am, and you just bounced back from a surgery grumble grumble…

I think you ladies should have a competition…30 yr old soccer player against 40-something post-surgery powerlifter lady.
First one to ten posts a vid. What say you? Doesn’t that sound like good times?
WOW…I can’t believe you’re doing chins that well so soon afterward. Have I told ya how jealous I am recently. Nice work snap!

I agree with you wholeheartedly, MM.
I’ve had many people tell me I should be a trainer since I’m very passionate about lifting and often seem to know more than most trainers. But the majority of gym-goers are lazy asses who don’t really want to work hard. I apologize for my elitist attitude, but I believe it’s true. And trainers don’t help the situation by having beginners do exercises like sloppy bicep curls on bosu balls.
Occasionally someone will approach me and ask me to show them what I’m doing (squat or DL or good morning usually). I’m always glad to help someone who is interested.
HEY! I don’t even know HOW to use a bosu ball!
I get what your saying. You saw the vid of the trainer I posted in my log right?
Totally awesome work going on…congrats on the chins…damn. here. ![]()
rocking out the 24 hour fitness chinups!!
snapper you jerk! you can almost do five chinups…after surgery…i just high fived myself for doing five in a row. finally. yeah.
GRRR! I’d be jealous if i wasn’t more mature and busy being and envious.
Those are really nice looking chins. Now add some weight ![]()
I’m with you on the idea of training. I really don’t give a crap about anyone elses goals. If they really desired it, they’d do it themselves. Now who’s being elitist?
Not much to say hasen’t been said about the chin ups, Very impressive,
^^^^^^
What Harry said, great chins.

Nice job. So whats it like to probley being the only women there thats hard core?
175-lb. conventional DL. First time pulling singles since March. The weight was very manageable, but I’m not happy with my form. Hips rising first and hyperextension on the lockout. Don’t ask about the arm flapping. It’s just something I do.

Th form will follow with practice, as you well know
Outstanding chins. Thats how are done. And good dead too, round plates even. Cant ask for much more.
Your d/l looked very easy. I’d say you have at least 225 in you if not more. Your speed was great.
