This is the first horse meat steak I have had in a long time. But damn, this was super tasty and tender. I guess horse meat will become a staple in my diet.

I’m having a similar meal right now to what I posted without the avocado and with fruit right now… sometime I have carbs and sometimes not.

Is that even legal? I feel like if someone did this in the US, you’d be wacked immediately.
Also, some of these meals seem quite small!?

Ah, I live in Switzerland. Only the now deceased horse lived in Canada.

I was curious as well, I just looked it up. Horse meat is illegal in the US, but here in Canada it's legal and apparently its available in high end butcher shops.

I too would like to know the reason why the majority of people on this site seem to be very restrictive of carbs in their diets. This may be a dumb comment, but my understanding has always been that carbs are a better energy source than protein and fat. Would someone please correct me?
Salad:
turkey and Swiss cheese slices
lettuce
tomato
cucumber
carrots
green olives
Country French dressing
Side of black bean soup from Goya
By the way, this meal contains MSG, canola AND soybean oil (omega-6s - better watch out), and 9 grams of sugar, which means that if I keep this up, I run the risk of croaking from coronary artery disease.
