UPDATE

I stopped logging here because I questioned the purpose. I have my own log book that I use at the gym. Unfortunately, the pages have started falling out, so I figured I’d start this back up again because it clearly has a better lifespan. Also, it’s easier to mark progress when everything is online and organized.

Not too long ago I decided to transition away from programs and try and learn what my body needs to grow and get stronger. I’ve been working with a three way split inspired by CT and his techniques. It will start out very low volume, but I’ll slowly add exercises every few months as I notice how my body is adapting.

Day 1 - PULL
Day 2 - PUSH
Day 3 - off
Day 4 - LEGS
Day 5 - off
Day 6 - REPEAT

I was really feeling it today on the dead lift. I’ve never tried going that heavy before, but since I wasn’t grinding any reps, I decided to keep on going. I ended up with a huge PR triple. I’ve never gone for one rep maxes before, but 215 was a PR just because I’ve never lifted that much before. 215 was heavy and a little of a grind. I knew I had the ability to pull more but my plan is to stop every lift after a grinding rep like CT suggests.
