I think you take my ‘loser’ comment the wrong way. Not saying you can’t be a drug user and do remarkable things, but I think that if you are addicted to substances you are a loser at some level and with some facet of your life. To me that means I would never date or befriend that person. To me, relationships with good people are an important part, if not the most important part, of life.
I’m pretty content with my drug free life.[/quote]
I´d rather be exceptionel in some way even if that comes with some serious character flaws, than live a perfectly balanced reasonable life with perfectly balanced reasonable friends.

Me too. Everybody has character flaws anyway. Might as well be exceptional on some level. I am pleased that she wants to legalize drugs, this is a fine idea as I don’t think any government or state any right what so ever to tell you what you can and cannot consume.
This notion that “losers” do drugs, well lots and lots of successful people do drugs so that a bunch of horse shit. Hell the constitution is written on hemp.

Two things also:
Losers are losers before they do drugs. They are the type that lets using consume their life.
Legalizing any drug, especially pot, will be a big battle with the DEA. That would be taking away their biggest cash crop, and tons of people make tons of money fighting a “war” on it.

Exactly, everything comes down to money, if the government could find a way to tax it like they do alcohol and cigarettes it would be legal.

I was talking about if it was legal again. I am more interested in the laws against steroids and prohormones than if someone is smoking weed…
No I don’t drink at all either. I don’t put anything in my body that is what I consider a poison. I think people should be free to do what they want, but it isn’t something that I want in my life, that’s all the ‘miss america’ statment was about.
And I have my own money, so I wouldn’t want to be around a guy who did drugs regardless.
HOLD UP!!!
Forget trying to justify smoking, are you over 18 in the united states FitnessDiva? if so your telling me that NOT ONE of your friends smokes marijuana.
What would you do if you found out? “I can’t be your friend anymore?”

And also responding to your previous posts.
For one thing, I think there is a big difference between a someone who takes a few puffs of weed here and there and someone how hides out in a hotel with an 8-ball and a couple of whores. Either way they roll, I think a lot of them wouldn’t want to be around you either.
With that said, just about everyone I know dabbles around a bit, but none of them have a problem. They’re all happy stable people that work very hard and contribute to society plus they do well with the ladies.
