Woo! People still readin my log!

Haha thanks Spock

Weird, it looks like batman is not wearing a shirt.

I enjoy how Robin is left out and it looks like he so desperately wants to be a part of it, so he’s air-fiving

LOL DC used to be so ghey

Training/diet is going pretty awesome. I have now lifted for 29 straight days, and done cardio on about half of those days (usually just about 40-50 mins on the bike, get a sweat going and burn some extra calories without putting too much stress on myself since I’m lifting every day) and I feel great.

The scale is moving down slowly, but I’m getting steadily leaner and my strength is not decreasing, so that’s pretty much best case scenario I think. Weighing about 178-179, and I’m probably about 2 pounds away from being as lean as I was in the pics on page 23 when I was 172ish, so that’s good. Gonna get leaner than that though.

Wee update… Weighing about 175-176 now, still going very well, few random notes:

  • Benched 285x5, not quite as good as 280x7 but I’ll take it as I’m leaning out
  • Have never actually done weighted pullups before because I’ve very rarely done pullups at all, cause I don’t care for them, but I’ve now done weighted ones the last 4 back workouts and I actually like them. Today did them with a 55 pound dumbbell between me legs for 3 sets of 6, after pullovers and pulldowns.
  • Deadlifted 455x6 again, easier than last time I tried 455, and I’m about 8 pounds lighter, nice.
  • Will probably post pics in 3-4 weeks or so

I need to stop watching the food network. Makes me want to eat all the things.

Got a new digital scale, should be more accurate/easier to track my weight.

This morning, pre breakfast, post-pee, in just undlewear, I was 171.5.

Slept turrible last night, feel run down today, so no lifting/no cardio/eating a bit more today. I’ve lifted for 40 straight days now, and done cardio about 20 of those days on top of that, so I could use a day off.

Good for you, take a rest ! Whatcha gonna do in your extra free time?? Watch big bang theory re runs? That’s what I do.

Sometimes I take a bath.
I don’t know if guys really dig baths though, kinda a chicky thing to do, hmm>>…

Haha yeah have not taken a bath in quite some time, although I’m sure it’d be a good relaxing experience.

I’ve had tooooo much free time lately actually, don’t watch a lot of shows but I am currently working my way through Community, very funny. Tonight I think I’m going to see The Master though, I do like to hit up the theater pretty often.

Benched 335 again, which I’m pretty happy with for being just over 170. If I somehow get down to 165 and get a 330 bench, I would be very happy, that’d be a lifetime bench goal achieved. However, pressing strength is starting to decrease a little bit, and I’m having to kick my diet up a notch for the next few weeks to lose the last few pounds, so we’ll see.

FML 335 @ 170. Benching my Squat roughly lol.

Ohh btw, I’m being that version of Robin (the one in the pic you posted near the top) for Halloween. U jelly?

Haha if it makes you feel any better my squat isn’t that much higher unfortunately.

And yes, very jelly. Trying to think of a good costume for not having a shirt on that doesn’t make me look like a douche. Thinking it either has to be high quality, a group thing, or funny.

My ‘back-up’ was going to be basically Bruce Banner turning into the Hulk. Paint like my arms and legs a light green, like I’m turning, and have like a tiny nerd our fit an tine ripped purple pants and some nerd glasses. So then everything would be tight (shirt’s small so you can see abs, sleeves ripped to see arms), and I feel that at my size that’s only way I can be any form of the Hulk and not look too small.

Yeah, your bench is as strong or stronger than mine. I’m not sure if I could put up 335 right now, and I outweigh you by thirty pounds! Good work man.

Thanks for the compliment man, means a lot coming from someone at your level. Now if only I weighed 30 pounds heavier but was still as lean as you.

Been feeling dumpy all week, pretty much all motivation for this diet is leaving… weight loss is plateauing, and I’m at the point where strength/muscle loss is becoming more noticeable… thinking since I’m not actually dieting for a show or anything, might take it a bit easier on the diet, switch to more maintaining this leanness for a few weeks, rather than continue to feel like sheeeit.

To finish off the diet I tried a little minimized version of shredded in six days where I just drank a lot of water and ate very low carb all week then cut out water and loaded up on carbs, made pretty much no difference lol maybe because I wasn’t quite lean enough to start, or maybe because I just wasn’t that into it, oh well, worth a shot. Will post “end of diet” pics in the next couple days.
