so to those of you that use slin pins for your AAS, what sites do you hit? Shoulders, and what else?
Biceps (2) → love this
Triceps (2) → havent done this yet, will soon
Chest (1) → havent done this, friend does
there’s no way I’d do my chest, but I think I’ll try biceps.
Do you not pin anywhere on your lower body?

Glutes 2x
Delts 2x
Biceps long head 2x
Biceps short head 2x
Quad seems unfun
and the slin pin works for glutes? Those needles just look too small
I do 28g 1/2 inch into my VL works great.
It works best in the deltoids and biceps IMO. Can be done in the quads also. I try to steer clear of the quads but if I must then no more then 0.5ml in each leg.
Slin pins work great to reduce muscle damage and pain.

I have a bunch of 29g I bought for peptides, would they work?
Also, why does anybody use the “regular” size needles if slin pins work? Doesn’t make much sense to me.

SB why only 0.5ml in the quad or avoiding them all together? Any places you put more than 1/2 ml with slin pins?

I think it would depend on the oil of the product you are using. Even if you are backfilling them the oil just might really not want to go through a slin pin 28 or 29 if its thick.

I didn’t have much trouble with .7ml in my quads the when I shot 2 days ago. My legs are fairly lean, idk how yours are SB, but that could make a difference how well it works.

I shoot long estered products in my glutes 2x/week with a 23-25g needle. If I was to use only fast esters i’d still do glutes though
I go up to a full ml in each biceps head without a problem. Well its kinda painfull for like 10-24hours but work your way up there I guess. I started with .5ml

Im even drawing with a 29g needle atm, I have a full ml in less than a minute, lol

I had bad experiences with quad injects when I put 1ml of Test400 in, never again. I just dont like the pain from quad injections because we use legs for near enough everything.

29g 0.5cc 1/2" work great for oil. Keeps you from injecting too fast, also. 29g 1cc is a little tougher and you really have to bear down on the plunger. The pressure you can generate with the plunger goes as the inverse the surface area of the plunger, which goes as the radius of the plunger squared. Since the 0.5cc has a plunger roughly half the diameter of the 1cc plunger, it can generate 4 times as much pressure, which makes the whole thing go faster.
The downside is that you can only put 0.5cc in a single site that way, but tbh, I was not comfortable putting much more than that in a site with a 1/2" needle anyway, so I just split my ED dose in half. Had I been injecting more than 1.5cc, it might have been a real pain, but I can handle 2-3 sticks a day, and the sites only have to be about an inch apart on the muscle. I used quads and delts, and you can easily go a week without hitting the same site if you have a system.
I always backfilled because drawing oil through a 29g needle sucks.
This was with test prop and the only time it ever hurt was when I tried to inject it subq.
good post there HS, but the maths at the start make mongo head hurt.
I’m sold on the slin pins idea. I’m going to get some .5cc 29g and use that to inject .4ml of test prop ED for my next cycle. Going to pin delts and quads. Sorted!
There’s an old thread by Prisoner about site injections that you should read. SubQ prop hurts like hell for about 24 hours, so don’t get too creative.
Are you running something with that prop? That’s either an awfully small dose, or an awfully high concentration…
I use 30 gauge slin pins (they were out of 29’s) and they work fine. I haven’t tried 1 mL barrels, but as a couple guys point out, the inject and load times are very slow. Not so bad at all with a 1/2 mL barrel.
In addition to the deltoids, I also like to hit my tear drop in the quads. Easiest to do it sitting down on a couch and putting the leg out straight on a coffee table or ottoman and relaxing it. Only downside to this is that it tends to bend the thinner needles (30 gauge…28 gauge is probably perfect).

I’m not going to use the slins anywhere it could go subQ. I figure between my delts and vastus lateralis I’ll have enough sites to rotate through. If I find the sites need a bit more rest then I’ll just jag a 23g in my arse (which is what I’d normally do anyway).
The prop dose will work out at a little over a half gram of test per week. I may consider running a bit higher, or maybe even adding some NPP, but it’s the same as my last cycle which I was happy with so I’m quite content just to do the same again. Going to run the var a little higher though…
