Sissification of a T-Man

Mufasa, T-rex, Timbo, Whopper (though he left more than a year ago), and many more. But I also find myself spend MUCH more time in the Off Topic section than any other.

Did somebody say that this place has gone to hell since Jason R. Baran was sent back to the rubber room?

After awhile anything gets old. A common problem with the internet is the instant access to information. It’s not my job to post and answer questions here. If you’ve been involved in weight training for say 25+years, you won’t find anything new after awhile.

You also find that weight training is a learn by participation thing, not a read thing.

We argued that one a lot, didn’t we Irondoc? :D)

I said that there was new information comming out all the time. This pertains more to nutrition than training.

i said that i am “currently” training naturally.

i think that being a hardcore trainer/bodybuilder/powerlifter/athlete/whatever you want to call it is constantly striving to improve yourself through hard training and education. actually living the life and not just talking it. using all the valuable info that we find here, in the gym.

hardcore isnt going to the gym and grunting uncontrollably under a heavy weight. (well maybe thats part of it) but the idea of this site is for serious/hardcore athletes to come here to improve upon what they already have. or to get started into this lifestyle, and truly live it.

if aas is part of that then great if not thats great too. but i think that the “hardcore” discussion has left the building and has been replaced with off topic (i am guilty of this) and newbie stuff.

even the articles seem to be geared more towards newbies. we seemed to have straightened out the lack of aas articles, but i would also like to see more technical in depth stuff from j.b. lonnie, and chad. what happened to appetite for construction, and the branding iron? i would love to see cy’s q and a, a lot more often.

these kinds of technical articles generate intelligent discussion on the boards. and allow us “hardcore” folks to apply this stuff in our daily lives and under the iron.

Attention Self-Obsessed Motherfuckers!

You have all participated in the asinine threads that have been going on recently.
You are all too blame.
You all started as newbies at one point.
You are all biased towards you’re own methods, and favor your own belief systems.
Get the fuck over yourselves.
Being the first to denounce those around you doesn’t make you superior.
Most likely none of you are bona fide geniuses.
Fuck off with you’re ‘more core’ than thou bullshit.
If you don’t like Off Topic then don’t go to it.
T-Nation is growing, deal with it.
The threads and bitching these days resemble shit you’d hear in junior high, are you fucking kidding? Shut the fuck up, lighten up, and focus on your own training.
Oh yeah, and if you need an internet site to feel like a man, you’re probably a big pussy.
Peace

I could kick your pussy little ass, RickBravo.

I’m teasin’ ya, Rick.

shit, I did one of those little smiley faces. That’s showing a lack of nad, isn’t it?

Where the hell is Cupcake?

He n his pal Cake Jones together could put a stop to this outrage… this…this… insanity

Avoids Roids:

don’t know if you’ve noticed or not but Rush isn’t exactly T-man material.

But if by T-man you mean arrogant asshole, then thats another matter.

if it came down to a fight, Rush couldn’t take out a gay midget with a 30lb buttplug.

I agree Merlin

Actually Mike, your first comment bumped you up .4 % of a nad, so the little smiley dropped you back down to a flat 100% baseline nad level. So you were lucky and barely avoided having this minor fluctuation of your nadness effect any of your nadly attributes.

Yep Jeff. I don't think it makes a lot of difference. Low carb diets, post workout foods, various programs. I fyou knew were to look, it could be found. It was just harder to find in the day.

Baox squats have been around since the 60’s at least. The O lifts. Remember when the USA was the power? They’re not new. Heavy duty HIT training. Should have killed that one in the seventies.

You have to master the basics first. this is like golf. Every idiot buys the new gadgets, bvut Tiger could beat you with shit garage sale 30 year old clubs.

Good one Forrester!

dammit, there I go again…

Bigpussy, cough cough, I mean Bigconan, nice try.

And no, Lions still don’t outrun Bears.

Thanks for proving my point…you might want to up the clomid there tough guy. P Noggle is on point though.

(WARNING: As usual some of the forumites will be offended by this post. If the shoe fits…try thinking about it, and not bark back. Thankyouverymuch.)

I used to wrestle with these types of questions until I found out some sort of plausible answer:

By oversimplifying the debate, polarizing it, and therefore trying to himpose his simple definition of whatever he judges as true, any fucker who forces you in an either/or type of debate is the real loser.

By thinking that way, he just demonstrates he cannot tolerate the uncertainties of life, and has very low tolerance for ambivalence. Hence the polarization, the need for images, archetypes and extremes. Exactly like children.

Pity the poor soul. He cannot understand that this world is a gradient of grayness and very few absolutes exist. He cannot understand that one can be, for example, strong AND polite, sexy AND nerdy, naughty AND respectful, etc.

In this thread, he probably could not understand that one can be intense (what he calls hardcore) AND yet civilized. Strong and silent is something that will most probably never get through his skull. He has to absolutely trangress some sort of social convention to feel good, based on others reactions. You cant put a show without a stage and an audience thingy, huh?

Guess what? I don`t care. Let them be. Live and let live. Your only hope is that they change, by themselves. Totally out of your control. The other acting that way just gives me a flag to not waste too much energy on the said person and keep looking for more evolved/interesting people. That chump will surely find his niche. Me too. Good thing they will be different ones. Ehehehe.

Kuri, if I have to spell it out, then I will: J-O-K-E

Dan C, nice post. Couldn’t agree morg.

Yeah, great post DAN C. Agree also.
