A visual guide to the perfect donkey punch.
Revved up like deuce another runner in the night
This thread should have ended with @EmilyQ’s last post.
Is that because it’s wandering off topic, or because you believe we live in a patriarchy but cannot name any examples of it?
I’m curious as to why you didn’t simply say “no, not at all, why do you ask?” Maybe, you know…smile? Perhaps she’d have described interesting experiences. Probably she would have found a cheerful “nope!” sexy. Why bristle up?
I can tell you that dating men is a pretty weird undertaking. All sorts of undercurrents. Men can be competitive and hierarchal in surprising ways.
Typically, when a woman is trying position herself as better than you - you gotta knock her down a peg or three.
It’s her way of disqualifying you and making you qualify yourself to her, which just doesnt work if you want to be seen as attractive (a la hypergamy).
Also displays of masculinity in women are so unattractive that it turns my dick into an ‘innie’. It’s worse when these brainwashed dimwits think they should be cheered for acting this way.
*apparently i need to clarify that this is for women with potential romantic interest, and I’m social settings only.
Regarding earlier comments in the thread cueing EmilyQ in to general gender conversations, I’m going to extrapolate from this that gender is viewed as a real thing with pronounced differences and forced androgyny, essentially equity if we boil it down, is not the same as accepting and working with differences.
Not necessarily quoting for engagement but to highlight. I will say it’s nice to see old school thought in the mix with all the weird shit going on now, even if it was very “liberal” in its day.
I work with young women every day. They don’t view things differently than I do in significant ways. They’re women looking for men in the vast majority of cases. It’s all old school when you’re on the ground. Main difference being women can escape or opt out now.
Best part of being a woman today compared to any other time in history
This line is very blurry.
What counts as “trying to position her as better” is ultimately subjective. My female profs often have to deal with male MBA students being outright disrespectful, presumably trying to “knock her down a peg or three” just bc they present confidently and are in a position of authority
What in the Kentucky Fried, Mountain Dew chugging, couisin-fucking shit is this?
I think I found one.
I’ll knock her down 10000 pegs, make her get on her knees and worship me as king.
For I am MAN, I have a penis and I am your conqueror

Given obesity rates, drug use, and increased cat ownership, I wouldn’t be so quick to think that.
I work with a lot of women and the ones who are married and had a baby while employed, would all have preferred to stay home and raise the kid vs coming back to work. Unfortunately, they can’t afford that choice.
It’s the women in high paying, high status, careers who complain about having to choose between career and family. Most mothers would love to have that choice.
The hard part is getting her into your parents’ basement.
Context matters. I’m sure a majority of women agree with you.
But the choice matters for people like me. I’m on the spectrum, asexual, aromantic , and cannot stand children. It’s good that I have the choice to be independent
In the past, I would be stuck in some shitty job (e.g., nurse, secretary, elementary school teacher) or forced to be housewife
You definitely would have been classified as a witch in certain places/times in history.
In a lot of Chinese history, I would have either been a victim of infanticide, more or less sold off to another family or abused as a disgrace for not being able to stay in a marriage
I should have been more clear. For women who want to have children, I believe for the majority they would love to have the option of staying home. I think it’s almost unnatural at some level for a mother to “abandon” her baby to strangers and go to work.
I would never say a woman should not have choices. In fact, given what I said, it seems as though they currently have fewer choices. Meaning, they have no choice but to return to work.
